4/21/2023 Driver Blew by house did not make any attempt to stop, Called regional office and spoke to ***** who has been historically rude and condescending who had no resolution other than we will come next week which is not reasonable with two full bins. I wish i knew what has happened to this company and when the downfall began.Business Response

Driver stated the trash & recycle was not out at 10:20 AM on 4/21/23. As we could not go back
and service as the driver had written is was not out. The customer then requested we end
his **********************. All trash & recycle the customer had will be picked up when the totes are removed
this week.

Meters Trash collection service is trying to bill me for an off week pickup. Trash picked up every other Thursday. I called when I missed my Thursday on 11/24/23. They told me to put it out the next week as our neighbor across the road is picked up then. They then billed me $20.52 for an off week pickup. I refused to pay and canceled my service. I then canceled my credit card as they kept trying to charge it. They now want to charge me a $20 chargeback fee. Agreement is to pick up twice a month. They only picked up twice. As of 3/20/2023, they now said they were going to refer my account to collections. They are trying to ruin my credit over this off week pick up and fee. Agreement was for twice a month, which is what they picked up. They are making up their own rules as they go. I refuse to pay for more than what was agreed upon, which is twice a month pick upBusiness Response

11/28/2022 11:21:30 AM LOB: CUSTOMER CALLED CANCEL ********************** BECAUSE WE WOULDN'T TO PAY OFF WEEK $ AND THOUGHT WE ARE IN THE **** ANYWAY WHY WAS HE CHARGED HE HAS ONLY ASKED THIS A FEW TIMES SINCE HE HAS BEEN WITH US. EXPLAINED EVEN THOUGH EVERYONE AROUND HIM IS GETTING PICKED UP WEEKLY HE IS ONLY PAYING FOR EOW PICK UP. DRIVER STILL DOES HIS JOB AND THAT IS WHY ARE ARE CHARGING BECAUSE HE CHOSE NOT TO PUT OUT OR FORGOT TO PUT OUT.
1/3/2023 2:31:24 PM LOB: CUSTOMER FILED A CHARGEBACK. LM FOR HIM THAT I EXPLAINED THAT THE DRIVER WENT BY ON 10/20 AT 7:58 AND TRASH WAS NOT OUT. WHEN HE CALLED THERE WAS AN OFF WEEK PICK UP SCHEDULED BY HIM SO WE CHARGE FOR THAT BECAUSE THE DRIVER STILL DOES HIS JOB AND IT WAS HIS CHOICE TO NOT PUT OUT FOR WHATEVER REASON. ASKED HIM TO PLEASE CALL ME SO I CAN SEND HIM THE CHARGEBACK FORM TO SIGN AND STOP THE CHARGE BACK. THERE WILL BE A $20 FEE FOR THE CHARGE BACK IF THIS HAPPENS AND IF HE DOESN'T STOP THE CHARGE BACK AND IT GOES TO COLLECTIONS THERE WILL BE AN ADDITIONAL $50 FEE ON TOP OF ALL THAT.

TOLD HIM I WASN'T GOING TO ARGUE WITH HIM ABOUT IT 5 MINUTES BEFORE WE CLOSE I CAN SEND IT TO COLLECTIONS AND LET HIM ARGUE IT OUT WITH THEM. FAQAs the company stated, they tried to charge me for an off week pick up, when they in fact told me to put it out the following week. I paid for 11/2023 in full for 2 pickups, which is what they did. They want to send this to collections which will impact my credit score. This is why I said I would see them in court. They have no right to charge me above and beyond what I was obligated to pay for the month of November. Of course I would take them to small claims court. Its not just about the $40+ illegal overcharge. Their underhanded billing has a direct affect on my credit score. Theyre wiling to do this over $20 off week pick up fee? Of course I became upset. Who wouldnt. She stated they hear this complaint all the time. I will not allow them to bully me into paying for a service Id did not receive, and was told to do without being notified I would be charged extra.

I paid the account because they responded to this complaint by stating again they will send it to collections. I do not want this to affect my credit score. They essentially said pay up or we will ruin your score. I still expect to be reimbursed. What they did was blackmail leaving me no recourse.

My family has been using Myers for 3-4 years now for trash/recycling pickup at our home. Until this past month we have had little issue with the service, but at this time our trash has not been picked up in 4+ weeks. We have had our complaints ignored, been hung up on multiple times and sent in circles trying to get our trash taken care of as it builds up with a family of 5 very quickly. We have been told each week You are on the pickup list it will be taken care of only to have the day come and be told the roads are much too icy for them to do so, when we have seen other trash pickup services happen on those days and have seen no issues with the road ourselves. Myers is very unprofessional and uncaring when there are issues with service and I do not recommend their service to anyone.Business Response
