We hired Wall to Ceiling Drywall to do a small drywall job. On 8/23 the owner, *******************, came to our house to quote the job and we hired him. The job was estimated to cost $900 not including materials, which we were to pay for separately. We gave him a $300 deposit that day per his request. On 9/13 he came and hung the drywall and said he'd be back later that week to finish the job. We paid him another $300. Days went by and we had not heard anything from him. Finally on 9/20 he reached out and said he could finish the job that week, but needed $150 up front, which we paid him (he requested we leave a check in our mailbox for him). We have continued to reach out and he's said that he will come the next day to finish the job and then he does not show up. He's since stopped responding to our calls and texts. We last spoke to him on 9/26 and texted him on 9/29 with no response. We would like to receive our money back since we've paid him $750 for a $900 job, but he's only done 1/3 of the work -- there are two days left of work (mudding, then sanding).

I have yes no replayed to the home owners because I missed one phone call that I could not answer for the first time and then received and threatening text message saying that they were going to post negatively about me and my business of o didn't answer them back immediately. I feel that this is uncalled for with it being the first time in our whole time working Together that I could not answer my phone right away or text back immediately. As for the deposit o require that to secure the customers spot in the schedule. And then I showed up to install the sheetrock on the wall witch requires another 1/3 of payment I had planed to come back right away to get the taping done but I was trying to get the other job I was doing all finished up. (Which I did mention to ******* and ***** from the beginning) the few day I didn't get in contact with the Baileys after I hung the sheetrock was because I had unfortunately broken phones and  as soon as I was able to get in contact with them I did. The day that I got a check for 150 dollars *************** said that his wife had some work friends over and it would be best not to work that night and I said that was fine but asked if I could be advanced the 150$ for a bill I needed to pay and I had planed to come the next more **************** said that was fine and he was headed out so he would leave I in the mail box. I have done my best to inform the ******* of my personal family problems I was dealing with trying to be honest and
