Met with ****** in March for a new patio. Wait 5 weeks for an estimate. When we contacted him again in 5 weeks was told he was too busy to build it this year. Put us 5 weeks behind in finding a contractor. Do not recommend JPS

****** was over 2 months late in starting our project. We signed a contract in June, he was meant to start end of July/August, and he did not demo until the end of September. Each week or two he would email that he had to push a week (he claimed weather delays were the reason). He finally came to demo and then did not give a timeline for the decking material delivery nor when he would start the project. He claimed it was usually three days for delivery, but didn't have insight after a week. We called ********* to understand timeline for materials after ****** could not provide it. ****** became aggressive and angry after ********* called him and he wanted to 'cancel' the contract. However, after that initial call, he demanded that I sign a letter saying I was the one initiating the cancellation and asking for additional payment. We could not come to a solution and lawyers became involved. ****** eventually had the materials delivered, which was about the cost of our deposit. I never heard back from his lawyer after I sent a screenshot of the invoice that had been attached to the materials which showed ****** had lied about the cost of the materials as well as the date he placed the materials order. He did not place the order until the day he called to cancel the contract with us. He left us with a demoed deck and many wasted hours try to untangle the lies after he was unable to complete the project.

Hello *******,Thank you for your feedback. I thought this issue had been resolved privately between us. You received materials at my cost and free labor/ disposal that I paid for out of pocket. If you were unsatisfied with the resolution you could have mentioned something a long the way.
