      TPW Management is shockingly dishonest. I drove across country last August based on their promises regarding an uninsulated wood cabin in Vermont. They promised the lease was renewable, that the owner had no intention of returning and the house was definitely not being sold. On the basis of that, I made the very expensive move and journey across America. When I arrived, the house stank of urine, there were no screens on the windows or doors, and worst of all, NO WORKING WOOD STOVE. I had already bought 2k of wood for the stove, but without it, I was forced to use propane. The expense was gigantic. The screens have STILL not been put in. I had 2 rodent infestations and they never sent anyone! The bathtub broke twice, I was told to handle it myself! I put over 3k into the garden, spent almost 2k on custom shades. I asked again and again to have my rent reduced given the terms of my lease had not been met (in fact, have never been met) and they refused. I liked the house location enough to stay. Once I paid July rent, TPW handed my a termination of lease, meaning I couldn't renew my lease! Lies upon lies upon lies. Its outrageous and horrible. Given that they lied, given that the owner had been planning on returning the whole time (which i learned via my neighbor, her friend), given that the terms of my lease were never met, given that i picked up my whole life and moved it across country DURING A PANDEMIC at great expense, I want to be reimbursed for the shades, the garden and the wood as well as a reduction of the rent retroactivel,. The BBB doesnt handles that aspect, so I have hired a ********** lawyer and have handed him the 100's of lying texts/emails. In addition to their weird and constant lying, they failed to give me 60 days notice to leave, which is illegal in the state of Vermont, I am filing this complaint to that the entire state of Vermont knows what they are getting into when the engage with this self-serving, ********* 'business'. Shame on all of you
