      December 3rd I ordered food for my kids through the app for the McDonalds on the ********************* in *****, **. The total was $9.80. I arrived around 8:20pm and noticed at the majority of the lights were off, including the drive-thru, but the dining room lights were on and there were employees inside. I pulled into the parking spot and entered parking space number on the app and waited. After several minutes my order had not been brought out so I approached the door, assuming maybe only the lobby was open and not the drive-thru. When I approached the door it was locked and there was a printed sign that said they closed for maintenance at 8:00 p.m. After being laughed at by the employees in the lobby that saw me standing at the door, holding up my phone showing my order, I called the store and was told that I would need to request a refund through the app.There is no way to request a refund on the app so I emailed them. They told me that the individual store would have to process the refund and that they had contacted the store manager and requested that I'd be refunded. Since this initial contact on December 4th, I have sent an additional five or six emails. Each time I have been told that the store manager was told to refund my order. The last response I received apologized that the store manager still had not reached out to me, nor refunded my order. They advised that it had been escalated to the regional manager and they would be reaching out to me as soon as possible. Nobody ever reached out and I still have not been *********** is now January 4th and I still have not received a refund for the product I was never given, but charged for. My last response from McDonald's was on December 20th. Since then I have sent two more emails with my case number included and they have just stopped responding. It will be attaching my receipt from the order as well as the last correspondence received from McDonald's corporate.

      Hello,  thank you for contacting us. I would like to explain the situation. First, the correct name should be ******* Coughlin. This complaint says from Emme Prive. I don't know who that is. The complaint that I received came from ******* *****. 

       I did respond to ******* on December  5, 2024 as you can read in the email that I attached here. I explained that the pending charge will drop from there account by December ******************** on December 18. 

      I did a follow up email on to him on December 16, 2024. I have attached this email also.

      He states that he has emailed several time without response.  I don't know who he is emailing but it is not me.

      If he had spoken to a manager at the restaurant, they would have contacted me. I have not heard from any manager regarding this. I followed up with the managers earlier this evening to double check. How do I know that he did't receive the refund. He should have by now like I said. He never contacted me, ever. 

      We are very fair and enjoy our customers!!! please let me know how this can end,,, Respectfully, **** ***** Senior Supervisor

      First off, I have no idea who ******* is? My husband is ******* ***** and I am **** *****. I never received any direct correspondence outside of from McDonald's corporate. Looking at the attachments, these emails were sent from a random email address that must have filtered into my spam because I never received them hence why I never responded. All correspondence was sent through the McDonald's app as I was never provided with any direct email address for anyone, nor did I receive any direct emails or calls. On December 20th I sent yet another message through the McDonald's app, including my case number, and from that point forward none of my messages were answered. 

      The Fact that it has taken me over a month and I still have no resolution, instead I met by a bad attitude is absolutely wild to me. Please just refund my money so we can be done with this.

      I have visited this location on many occasions and unfortunately they never provide the product that they advertise. The biscuits are always hard as a rock, the other food is usually cold or wrong or missing and despite several calls to the owner, complaints to the McDonald's corporation and calls to management, they never change. I'm seeking compensation for all of the food that I have paid for that has been consistently awful and/or missing and/or wrong.
