    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does satisfy my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint #********. I understand that by choosing to accept the business response that my complaint will be closed as resolved.

It would seem that it would have been easier if the hospital had responded to my multiple phone calls and letters without BBB intervention, but now the charges for the purported "Visit" as it was presented on the Patient Portal somewhat makes sense. In essence, the monitor "Visited" the doctor. It would also been useful if monitor reading had been listed under Results, *********************, Assessment, Procedures, or Encounters under the Visit (all of which were blank) to explain the charge.

There was also no entry under Lab Results, which would seem a better place to present the action of reading a diagnostic monitor.

However, with the explanation, the bill has now been paid. See attached email from *******************.

    Regards,

    ***********************

from anyone at Copley. However, I continue to receive bills that provide no information about what the charges are for. The latest bill, dated 8/12/24, has had a balance due change from the previous bills, however, there is no itemization indicating the reason for the change.I have logged onto the Patient Portal and the only information I can find is that I was supposed to have had a visit with a Dt. *****. I have never had a visit with ***** nor have I ever had an appointment scheduled with *****. I did not go to the hospital on the day when the visit was supposed to occur. Upon reviewing the patient portal information there is none aside from the supposed Care team. Also, no Referral or Discharge info.I want to know what the bill is for or to have it expunged from my record if it is invalid. The only person to whom I spoke (in the ************* said they didn't know what the bill was for. I suspect that may be the case and they continue to bill me fraudulently.
