      We were approached by a contractor in February 2024 to complete some kitchen work we were planning on doing. We met a number of times with the contractor; he drew up plans for our kitchen and took $960 from us for those renderings. As the date approached for work to begin (we were expecting a fall start), contractor started taking longer and longer to respond to messages asking about next steps and when work could begin, and eventually stopped responding altogether. We tried multiple time to get in contact with him via text or phone to resolve this, to no avail. It is clear that he never intended to actually do any work, and wasted our time and took $960 of our money for plans which he never intended to follow through on and which now are useless to us.
