    Contractor was to build a 35x23 metal garage. Gave deposit in August. Was told the engineered trusses were being delivered on 11/14. I asked ******* on11/16, what time they would be arriving on Monday 11/20 to start the job. ******* told me that she had to call to see if the trusses were being delivered this week. I got an email the next morning about an error in ordering the trusses. I called the supplier and spoke to the Rutland store manager and was told that there were no orders and the invoice she has sent me previously from this supplier, was fraudulent and was not from them. So Gardner Customs has over $12,000 of my deposit money and is not and has no plans to do this job. I left a voicemail on 11/17 telling her what I found out from the supplier and have received no call back. I have reported it to the attorney general, police and the **** ******* also seems to be a member of the school board and I will be contacting them also.

    Gardner Customs was contracted to build a 24x40 pole barn, hemlock frame, metal roof, concrete footings-10 height rafters to be the same as K&C pole barn. They required a deposit of half the cost which was paid to them on October 4th 2022 in the amount of ******** in the form of a business check. The project was to start in early spring if 2023. Neither has been constructed or completed so an agreement had been concluded by both parties to return our deposit amount in full . We have yet to receive our deposit and emails, text and phone calls are not being returned by the business.

    I have heard from the business in response to my complaint. But still have not received payment yet. They say they will send payment but we still have not received any form of payment thus far. We have an appointment with a lawyer in September which they are aware of if this is not resolved before September 8th 2023. They only way they responded was because of numerous attempts in calling and they finally answered our calls. Will let your know if this is resolved hopefully by Sept.8th.
