      Horrible. My garbage company was purchased by Casella and I have had nothing but problems. Sometimes they come for the garbage, sometimes not. One week it is "human error", one week is "truck broke down", one week is "someone got sick", one week "they are on their way" with no pick up. My recycling has not been picked up for 3 weeks. They act so surprised. No excuses. I now call the morning of our scheduled pick up to remind them, then later in the day when they don't show up and then the following day.

      Unbelievably bad company. Contracted with them to pick up our garbage for our seasonal home and over a period of months they never picked up the garbage even after numerous phone calls. We were finally fed up and terminated their services and they still wanted to be paid. Any company would have to be better than Casella.

      Horrible service. They continued to forget to collect my twice per month recycling. I finally canned them and switched to another company. They told me it would be **** days to pick up their containers. Its now been just about a month and they still havent picked them up. They just told me it would be another 2 weeks or so and theres still garbage and recycling in the containers

      Repeating what others have said - waste not serviced - changing long standing policies without notice causing waste not to be serviced, etc. In addition, their policy of customers having to put their bins outside overnight - or no service - is directly leading to the increase of bear/human interactions throughout the state. They have monopoly on this industry, and this policy has massive correlation to the sharp increase of bear activity as their bins also do not prevent wildlife access in any way. We have the state telling us to abide by their policies - and CWS telling us to do the complete opposite - or don't get the service you pay for.

      Ridiculous. I cant even get a price to start service, much less receive service. I have since moved on. Very sad since I have had family work there for almost 50yrs. ********..

      Casella Waste Mgnt. bought out ***** Disposal, with whom I had paid for a year of service. After doing some shopping around for a new disposal service I notified Casella that I would be ending my service with them. After my last pick up they were supposed to take their toter away. After several failed attempts to get an answer from them as to when they would be coming to retrieve their toter, and discussing this situation with several of my fellow residents in this town, I discovered that this has been an issue for several people in my town who are dealing with Casella Waste. I have sent numerous emails and have left several voice mail messages with the company and have heard nothing in response. Some of the residents have said that they have been waiting for up to 6 months for the company to retrieve their toters and they're still waiting. This company is not reliable. I do not recommend them. They have also, in the past, picked up my garbage and left my recyle bins behind for several days before coming back to empty the bins. If you want dependability, this is not the company you'll want. If you like your garbage toter and reycycling bins sitting in your yard for several days, or months, then you'll love them.

      Worst service ever.They **** 3 months ahead, but then they didn't pick up the trash for 3 weeks in a row.When called, any time they tell that they left a note in the system; they are waiting for the supervisor; and similar, but totally without resolving the problem.Apparently they do not have an effective way to communicate with both their customer and trucks. they told us having left a note in the system for the truck to pick up the extra bin after two weeks they have skipped to pick up the garbage, but the trick ignored the message and just picked up 1 bin....

      Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with. Numerous times our trash would sit out there for 3-4 days with no pickup. Even after calling they would respond we will get it in a couple of days. Wish I could give zero stars

      Unfortunately zero stars is not an option. Like so many others, week after week by trash is not picked up.We originally signed up with ***** in March. I called a month later because I had not received the bins I was promised and was routed to Casella. I had to go through the set up again and was promised bins and service to begin the following week. I was told to bring my trash and recycling to the curb Wednesday night for Friday delivery. For clarity my trash and recycling have YET to both be picked up by Casella on Thursday - sometimes the trash doesn't get picked up at all, sometimes just the trash is picked up, sometimes just the recycling. But most weeks, the trash is not picked up.I called, waited 30 min + each time, spoke with someone who either promised the issue was fixed or that they had a record of the driver making a stop with no trash to be picked up. There is a HUGE and UNACCEPTABLE disconnect with what dispatch and management are telling customers and what is actually happening in practice. When I requested a credit for the weeks trash was not collected, the representative asked me if I had to pay anyone else to remove it. If so, no credit was to be given but they would just pick up the accumulated trash the next week. No thank you, because next week never comes!Reading through all of these reviews it is SHAMEFUL that this business is still allowed to operate. I am currently on hold. After waiting for 20 minutes I spoke with someone whom I told I was cancelling service and needed confirmation that Casella would collect their bins from my property along with the trash their driver failed to pick up this past week. Delay tactics abound, as I have currently been holding for another 20 minutes to "speak to the correct department" to cancel my service. I really hope I am waiting on hold because of a queue of other customers looking to cancel their service!

      I had a Casella trash bin that was not emptied. Their solution was that they would pick it up next week. So Im paying for a service Im not getting and they are ok with that. That is not business that is stealing money!
