      My husband and I made apts for tattoos. On august 13 2023 we went to our apt with ****** the owner. I was told my tattoo would be just the outline because it would be too long of a sitting time and I would want to heal first then go back to finish. My husband got his finished but knew he would need a touch up so we both made follow up appointments to go back a second time. Our agreed work for that day was done. We paid the full amount of the tattoos we got. $1700 for both that would include the finishing of my tattoo and the touch up for my husband. The day before the second apt we were messaged by ****** to reschedule. In which we did. So within 30 minutes of this new second apt. She messaged us to say she would be late. To push an hour. 15 mi utes go by we get another message to reschedule completely. To which my husband was very upset by he asked for half the money back ****** told him Nevermind Ill be there in 45 minutes to touch yours up but your wife will need to be scheduled for a different apt. My husband got his touched up 4 weeks ago. I have since tried to schedule to get my tattoo finished since she got all the money and I was given only an outline which is half of what was agreed and I have gotten no response. She refuses to give any portion of money back or return messages or schedule apts. Ive had 5 other people say she has done this many times.

      I recieved an email on the 29th regarding rescheduling the appt. I did not see it till Sunday, which I typically do not respond to messages on Sunday. I attempted to respond to the message via the business page. It would not allow me too. Said user was unavailable. Tuesday morning I responded via personal fb regarding several openings in the next wk to reschedule this appt. I typically do not do prepays, however thats what the client wanted to do. 

      When i rescheduled I had a sick child at home with well over a normal temp. I did offer to keep the appt for **** after I touched up the white in her husband. Her husband responded she wouldnt be able to continue to come in.

      as far as the complaints of others. Im a human being and things come up. However, I have never maliciously cancelled and kept someones prepayment. Because again, I dont typically do pre pays. 

      I am happy to resolve this by finishing the tattoo, as I have several openings in the next wk where I can complete this.

      Im not satisfied with the answer because it doesnt justify the fact that we were scheduled, rescheduled, pushed an hour, then cancelled again. When I reached out it was a Tuesday the automatic message said Id get a response in 48 hours and didnt get a response until 4 days later. Which is the reason for complaining in the first place  

      I understand sick children. I understand busy lives but a response within 48 hours wasnt given and that led me to believe it just wasnt going to work out. ****** has done multiple tattoos for me and I really like her work but responding to messages clearly when its only convenient for one side isnt the best way to go about it. 
      when I hadnt heard from her in the 48 hour time frame I sent in a complaint  then I got a personal message to book an appt after the fact

      I apologize for the delay in not responding with 48 hrs. I have since changed that time frame to allow some more wiggle room on my end so that does not happen again. But i am merely human and doing the very best i can in every aspect. 

      I am still willing to finish the tattoo and am prepared to offer a $100 credit towards any addition to the tattoo to try and express my sincerity in the situation.

      At this point Im not ****** eager to get this tattoo finished by ************  I would simply like some money back

      the first cancellation of apt was concerning because directly after this last minute cancellation we saw the artist on her motorcycle. People deserve their own lives and deserve to be human. Customers dont deserve to be lied to and pushed aside last minute. We were more than accommodating and curtious all we requested was communication. And to go back to the fact that she says she never takes payment upfront when we asked how much we owed she said the full amount so we paid the full amount. 

      I need some sort of settlement and if I cant get it through BBB then Ill take another route
