4/25/24 I paid $6,469.22:- EPropulsion Navy 3.0 ********************* E-60 ********* ********* Controller - Solar battery charger They promised to install the ** by end of May but soon began making excuses. The wrong battery charger was order, AC NOT the Solar charger needed. They claimed the solar charger was back ordered but a month later I learned from another dealers it was readily available. They told me to buy it from one of these other dealers and that I needed to install the solar PV ** after which they would do the motor installation: remove gas motor and install electric motor, ********************* I laid out $1064.13 for this which I am now also out:- solar charger - electrical Bus Bars - 2nd charge controller for battery that runs electronics other than the motor - **************** to cool the battery - 3 x 100w solar panels - wiring, circuit breaker 1st week of June they said bring the boat in 6/19 and theyd do the work within a 2 weeks. On 7/2 I tried to contact them to say I wanted my boat and $ back but they didnt respond to email, answer their phone or return calls. Voice mail was full so no message could be left. On 7/5 I traveled to ********* to get my boat and $ back in person. Even though I owed them $0 and they had done no work they REFUSED TO GIVE ME MY BOAT BACK! I had to call ********* Police to try to retrieve my boat. While awaiting the Police the owner convinced my wife he would do the work on Monday 7/8. But on the 8th he called and said they would NOT DO ANY WORK ON OUR BOAT and we should come get it and our $ back. We went to do that on 7/9 and while I attached it to our SUV my wife went inside where the owner said he refunded the $ it via Quickbooks. Our credit card ALWAYS posts transactions quickly, within 1-2 days. On 7/10 there was no refund. My wife called again. They said theyd put the refund thru again. On 7/11 my wife still no $ so we contacted them a 3rd time. 7/13 and STILL no $back.

The refund transaction on 7/11 was put on hold by the bank on 7/12 due to a larger than normal refund in our Point of Sales system. I was notified of the delay friday 7/12 and it took the weekend (bank was closed) and until Tuesday7/16 for the transaciton to be processed. The refund should be in your account today 7/17. Sorry for the confusion, our bank was just trying to protect us from fraudulent activity.

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response.  If you wish, you may update it before sending it.]

    Better Business Bureau:

8 business days after the vendor said they submitted the refund (on 7/9, not 7/11) it finally appeared in my account. This finally satisfies my issue in reference to complaint #********.

    Regards,
