I'll echo what the other review said here. I bought ten 5-6' Green Emeralds last spring. The good: they were as advertised and were all about 5' (including root ball, so about 4' planted). Foliage was bright, fresh and full. They delivered and installed them. It would have been better if they just delivered and I installed them. Why? Because they dug holes only as big as needed to fit the root *****. I had new loam to use, they barely used any & didn't follow proper planting technique. I'd have dug bigger holes and used more good topsoil. Install them yourself and know the job was done ******** far I lost 30% of my trees. I watered them heavily. I wrapped a soaker hose around each tree and ran it on a daily timer until freezing weather forced me to put the hoses away. Within weeks of removing the hose 2 trees started wilting and ********. A 3rd died over the winter. Upon digging them out this spring I found the likely reason. The root ***** on them were too small! probably 1/2 of the overall diameter of the foliage. There simply weren't enough roots to handle the size of tree. I ended up transplanting a couple of the other living trees to plug the holes left by the dead ones and what did I see? A more generously sized root ball on those survivors. Why were the root ***** so small? I think I know the answer. I wondered how they could deliver and install the trees over such a wide delivery area for such a low cost. They make it work by doing volume. And by volume I mean they dig out the tree with the smallest root ball possible so that they can fit more trees on the installers trailer. Less root ball = less weight = more trees/installation stops per trip = higher margins. So if you do decide to get these trees do everything you can to ensure their survival. Buy in early spring, only accept trees with decent sized root *****, plant them yourself, water the living heck out of them ALL SEASON LONG, and wrap them up for the winter to minimize moisture loss. Good luck!

If zero stars was an option thats what they would receive this business is also doing business as Lowcostrreefarm.com They sold me 24 trees 5-6 footers that died within four weeks after their install- at a cost of almost 4000$ Will not return my phone calls or text. The installers told me they were not viable after being left out in sub zero temp . Should never been sold or installed by them. They refused to respond.
