    I recently sent my jonhsered 2094 chainsaw to them for repair. They claim to specialize in older jonhsered chainsaws. I live in **** and shipped it to them in *******. They supposedly fixed it and I paid the bill and return shipping. The first time I used the saw I cut eight pieces of wood and the recoil fell apart. That is one of the things they claim to have fixed. Now my saw is not usable. I want it fixed right and them to cover shipping.

    Customer shipped a chainsaw for the shop to repair.
    The saw had multiple issues to address,
    unfortunately, the customer's starter cover assembly was worn to an extent it would fail in the future.
    We did not have a replacement for the customer's worn starter, as it is obsolete, and we could not source a replacement.
    The saw functioned when we shipped it back, but We were concerned that their part would not hold up.
    We attempted to communicate the fact to the customer,
    but we were unaware that the notes added to the customer's invoice were not visible when it was emailed to them.
    Unfortunately, the customer's part did fail soon thereafter.
    Understandably the customer was upset by this event.
    We have attempted to find a solution with the customer but have been unable to help them understand the mechanics of the issue.
    We fix more than a 1000 chainsaws a year in our shop and therefore have extensive knowledge of how to repair them.
    We see no value in deceiving or defrauding any customer and look forward to a reasonable solution relative to the stated facts listed above.
