    I hired ******* Menard, Menard Handyman and Property Maintenance Services, LLC of ***************************************************. He was to do several jobs. One was to replace boards on swing, prime and paint them, sand and paint the steel frame of the swing. Another was to replace exterior back porch door, along with several other jobs. When the removed the old door they found rot from faulty installation of old door. He gave me additional estimate to fix the rot and fixed and installed the door. He had left his crew on the job. The crew had finished and left while I was in the house. I later went out and was looking and the two doors they installed from outside. Took some pictures and sent it to *** how nice one was trimmed below door with vinyl siding and the other not still showing original white metal wrapped below the door to see if he could do it the same way add on job say. I went inside unlocked the door and tried it, but the door only opened enough for me to get out sideways. I text him the door didn't open enough for my staff to get in. He told me it was because my floor was not level what did I want him to do. I was wearing him down and he felt like he didn't want to come back and do any work for me. I told him the estimate was to fix the rot. Did not say we would not be able to open door after rot fix and installed because the floor was not level. He told me I was ripping him off. He told me he didn't want to do anymore work for me and hung up on me in short. He also took boards developmentally disabled adult's swing to replace, paint new and sand prime and paint the steel on the swing frame My brother swings for hours and hours every day. *** knows how important his swing. I text him and said so great you hang up on me what about blanks swing? He replied how about the windows and storm door he ordered? Named the person whom referred me to him, loses his contractor and repressions will be had, this will be the last message. ?

    I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. Another contractor looked at the door and said the header needs to go up. Said would had taken them less than an hour longer to do the job correctly. Said the door plate is not suppose to be even with the floor. Said needs to go up half inch. Said they put a 4 inch door on a 6 inch wall. Said they did not put the * channel back on above door, just caulked it. Said they did not put the deadbolt plate on the casing.

    My name is ******* Menard the owner of said company Menard Handyman and Property Maintenance Services LLC.  We have been in business going on 12 years with no issues with the BBB up until today, it has taken a couple weeks to respond to this because we had to jump through a few hoops regarding court procedures.  We are currently holding a bad check for the said customer ********************* and now have gone to small claims regarding this entire job.  I would love to go into this more but at this point I cant except she would not let us come and try to finish the job which the door and windows were not even done and we were in the process or re-quoting work including fixing the old floor where the new door was "rubbing".  If court allows we will make another response to this once finished but I can not give more details at this point but again we would of loved an opportunity to try and finish this job but customer would not allow it and customer wrote me a bad check to try to get me out the door and then changed as soon as I left.  Thank you for your time
