    Attended bike tour with *** to ****** on 10/2-10/17/2024. Cost of trip was $13,620.00 for my husband and myself. On first day of tour one of the participant was obviously ill with upper respiratory symptoms. Per VBT protocol anyone feeling ill was to self isolate and mask This protocol was not adhered to throughout entire trip. On day 3 of bike tour my husband became ill with COVID. He was unable to participate in the tour and self isolated and masked. I also became ill on day 6 with COVID. When I told group leaders of our illness they were cavalier and told us not to disclose this information with other participants in our group. Due to the lack of this companies safety protocols and negligent conduct I feel it needs to be reported. Our safety should be paramount when traveling. I put my trust in this company and they failed to protect me and other participants. Not to disclose to other participants that they were exposed to COVID was fraudulent. We had to sign a participation agreement which I believe is unfair and involves misrepresentation on the part of *** due to there gross negligence.
