    i joined the cancellations list that someone had cancelled on for a mountain guide on mount Rainier and then had to cancel due to an emergency medical surgery 8 days later. I had to cancel my trip 8 days after joining the list. International Mountain Guides said that because I was within the 100 day range when I told them that I cancelled (which doesnt apply because anyone joining the waitlist for cancellations would be) but I was well beyond the 100 days and they said that I wasnt eligible for a refund. So they charged me $2,150.08 and for a service I never received then lied and said that I wasnt within the cancellation window early enough to be eligible for a refund which that window wouldnt apply to anyone in the waitlist but in my case I was beyond the dates they specified in the contract. Their contract was malicious and had all this hidden text that they arbitrarily use to rip people off!!! Even though I cancelled 100 days prior to the event (I joined the list June 6th and was given a tour date of Sept 26th and cancelled on June 20th the point is they charged me for a service i never received and will not work with me to get even a partial refund even though by **************** law I am not liable for any purchase by which the product, service or goods were not delivered or received. Awful business practices and dishonest staff. When I tried to get answers they ignored my emails ( see attachments below) and they wouldnt take my calls. They have defrauded me of $2150.08 for a service I never received and made up some arbitrary rules around their cancellation policy to justify horrible business practices. Please help me report this company so this doesnt happen to others and please help me get my money back.
