      First, at 9am opening, I went in and was told to wait 30 minutes till the tech arrived, so I left. I called back and got a quote of $1800-2000 for a stereo installation on my **** *** E30. He says ***s are difficult, but it requires all speakers to be changed as well. What a con! I went elsewhere with no trouble to have it installed promptly in just hours for $150. I called back and asked him how a professional company can charge such difference of price and he hung up on me! I was looking for help, and he was looking for to rip me off. And not nice about it either. Only a 1 star because the inventory was at a good cheap price and a good selection was available.

      Hello *****, I am sorry that your experience did not meet our expectations. We do our best to have installers available at all times to accurately quote vehicles. Some of the older vehicles do require additional work to replace an existing factory radio. Giving quotes over the phone can be challenging, especially with older and/or unique vehicles. The person you spoke with should have waited until we saw the vehicle before estimating a cost or scope of work on something he was unfamiliar with.       I dont write reviews often but my experience was not great I took my 99 F-150 to this location to get detailed and I paid for the Signature package.*************************************************************** Based off the description of the notes I figured this would be a great deal since the shop is not too far for **** dropped it off last Sunday 3-26-2023 as per my appointment and picked it up later that day.Upon picking up my truck I noticed some things that didnt sit right with me.To start, the Rims and Tires were not cleaned as I expected. The tires were still dirty and hardly had any tire shine applied to them.The face the of rims were only cleaned off but not the barrel of the rim. They still had water marks on them that were not wiped or dried off.The front metal chrome bumper was not cleaned up of the bug guts that were still there when I picked up my truck and had dirty water still on it.My door jabs were not wiped down of the remaining dirt that was mentioned in the package.The Advanced paint correction was not impressive for the hood of the truck and there were still swirls that werent removed and my paint wasn't in horrible condition.The product that was used to shine the windows and paint wasn't cleaned up around the trim/paint and I had to go back and clean this up myself which was a hassle.I feel as I was ripped off for my money, compared to other shops that I could have taken my truck to for the same service and price or had just washed it myself but I thought I would get my truck detailed and give car toys a try since I have made purchases for my audio system and have liked the results so far.Overall for the price($299.99 plus tax) that I paid for getting my truck "detailed" I am less than pleased with the results I got.This experience has left a bad taste in my mouth and I would have just done it myself if I had known the level of "Detail" I was getting.

      Never buy from car toys, i bought a 360 view dash cam (front and back) only 3 wires, told to come in to see if installed correctly...mind you NOT HARD WIRED...and notta All the guy had to say was pay $400 or have a nice day...wtf and cartoys is highly recommended?

      Worst buisness practice ever! All cartoys cares about is making money! Once they have your money you'll never get it back not even because that's all they care about! They have absolutely no ******* and absolutely no ethical business practices @ I paid them $60.for a half hour diagnosis to see why the stereo in the used vehicle I just bought and when I went to pick up my vehicle the tech guy told me the power wire from my amp to the battery was 2 different sizes and their must be a bad splice and would be $120 to change out the power wire to try amp. Long story short, When I got a chance to look at it myself I found the power wire was the same size from the amp to the battery and their was an inline fuse box about a foot or so from the battery and that tha fuse inside was blown. When I **ntacted the store in ********** ** to see about getting a refund they basically told me in not ** many uncertain words Tough S@#t. Needless to say I didn't get a refund. I Should have known better because this isn't the first time I've had problems with them but I can assure you it will be the last!

      The customer paid for our minimum trouble shoot for $60 for a half hour worth of work to find solutions to fix their current issues. We did identify the fuse along with installation standards we would suggest being fixed in order to correctly complete the installation to our standards. We would need to charge our hourly rate of $120 to completely fix the issues and meet our standards and not be held liable for a previous install that wasnt done at Car Toys. The customer declined our extra services which left his vehicle not completely fixed but identified the areas that would need to be addressed within the time allowed. We do want to help our customers and work with ethical business practices. We appreciate your business and apologize if you didnt feel we met your expectations within the minimum charge to look at your vehicle. If you would like to see if we could help accommodate a fair price for what you already spent towards for any future purchases.

      They scammed me!! Car Toys Online sent me the wrong speakers initially. I sent them back and they send me the correct ones. They sent me the right speakers in USED condition but I did not complain because I thought they would still work. Only one of the speakers was in working condition when I got them plugged up. After being sent back and forth between the store and car toys online I finally ended up getting a return slip and returning the speakers. They arrived february 10th, 10 days go by and I have no refund yet. So I call them and ask where my refund is and they tell me that I returned the speakers in USED CONDITION and that the serial number of the speakers I returned do not match up to the speakers they sent me!!! That is absolutely INSANE!!! I sent back the exact speakers they sent me in the exact condition they sent them to me. I am beyond livid and feel as if car toys got scammed by somebody else and are trying to make their money back on me. There is something SEVERELY wrong with car toys online and when you ask to speak to a manager they will NOT escalate the situation for you! $600!!!!! $600 they are trying to scam me out of. This is not okay and I will be following up and doing what I can to make this right.

      I purchased a radio with a backup camera included and free installation at $370 the overall total came to $893. All in all, the service was NOT worth $900. We requested a refund and for CarToys to take out their radio. The manager waived the removal fee. My girlfriend had to go alone to the store and consequently she was confronted with poor attitudes by the salesman and technician who I imagine feel we have wasted their time. She felt disrespected and once the radio was removed she felt taken advantage of for being a female who didnt know anything about the vehicle and would not seek out confrontation. My girlfriend came home to find the dash of the vehicle to have multiple nail/scratch marks from the steering wheel to the radio. This was probably done by a pry tool or by a disgruntled technician that refused to be diligent in his work because of the unhappy customer he is serving and may never see again. I would go with the latter. He showed absolutely no care and custody of the vehicle and did not care what damage was done as long as we were serviced as quick as possible so that we may leave their store.I work long hours and the last thing I have time for is dealing with the pettiness or unprofessional behavior of a company such as CarToys, who pride on service and have the resources to provide such service but do not. I had to drive back up to the store that night to voice my frustration of the treatment to my girlfriend and the dash which I was comforted with an insincere apology.I spent the next day plugging in the initial radio myself. I managed to do so without further damaging the vehicle nor breaking anything unlike that of CarToys skilled technicians. In the end, I am now out $450 due to labor and other fees and we didnt get a radio. For the inconvenience and unprofessional manner displayed by the employees, CarToys should make this right by giving a full refund as I will have to repair a dash due to their conscious disregard.

After he verbalized the complaint, he had submitted we agreed that there were a few misunderstandings from both parties . He finds the condition of his ***************************************************************************************** the amount of $432.90.

      came to the ******** ** location for intoxalock- the manager ******* is completely rude and unprofessional, aside from keeping our vehicle for a week (we were told this was a 2 hr appointment and it turned into them having our car for 5 days) one of their lovely employees was intoxicated at work and blew into the device they installed causing it to get locked out and reported, and incurring a charge that refuse to fix. they believe it is our job to correct their mistakes. the poor management here reflects in the employees behavior as well, being as they are drinking while at work, cussing, and saying things like I just dont feel like helping. upon calling another location, they informed me that this location has issues stemming from ******** creating a toxic work environment and that multiple employees have transferred locations to remove them self from underneath her. she is a boss with a poor attitude, no leadership skills or professionalism at all. if you want to deal with a tyrant and her minions, this is ****************. if you expect people to act professionally and take responsibility for their mistakes- I highly suggest you choose a different location. *******- I am sorry you did not get the proper training to be working customer service, however, thats not an excuse to be disrespectful and aggressive towards customers. I hope you get some additional training and understanding of why a toxic work environment is so dangerous. bad managers=crappy employees and this location is a prime example.
