Complaint Against Fleet Strong NW - *********** ****** Date of Incident: 2/11/2024 - 7/29/2024 On February 11, 2024, I contacted *********** ******, owner of Fleet Strong NW, for assistance with a sound coming from my 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9L Cummins engine. Mr. ****** towed my truck to a shop in *******, **, and for nearly six months, I received misleading information regarding the status of repairs and timelines. I was particularly understanding due to personal issues affecting Mr. ********* February 16, 2024, I paid $628.97 for an injector replacement. I was waiting for the next invoice on work done, however, I received multiple text messages from the company indicating that they were waiting for "a part" and "had the engine head out for machining", later I was informed it remained parked on Mr. ******* personal property without any work being done.On July 29, 2024, Fleet Strong NW towed my truck WITHOUT my consent and dropped it off at *********** Repair in ****, **. Within hours, my truck was stolen and subsequently totaled. It appears this occurred because Fleet Strong NW drained the engine oil and left the keys in the wheel well instead of a secure location. I was not aware of the towing or the truck's transfer until I received an impound notice from ********************Additionally, the insurance company informed me that the shop my truck was towed to was NOT owned by Mr. ******* As a result, I had to hire legal representation, but Mr. ****** has yet to respond to my lawyers request for a settlement. My truck's replacement value is $25,000, but I have only been compensated $9,000 from the Grove Truck Repairs insurance.Conversation with Mr. ****** has been very dishonest, which is what led me to ask for the Better Business Bureaus help. I am seeking $12,000 to get me closer to whole in this terrible situation. This amount is essential for me to replace a critical asset in my life.Thank you for your attention to this matter.
