My 90 year old parents recently had a roof put in by this company. They punctured the ** line resulting in over $3,000 of damage and had to suffer through a heat wave without air conditioning. Their heating and cooling unit is only a couple of years old and the line was punctured by a nail. They called the business and the owner rudely told them "we don't use nails, we use staples" as if all the nails they left in the yard were not evidence of the use of nails. I also believe that staples for a composition roof in WA are not code. They claim to be bonded and insured, but won't take responsibility for damage. My parents are too old to file a complaint on their own due to their age and limited computer knowledge.

    In response to *********** complaint..

we were in contact with his father. His father was having a hard time keeping the phone numbers of the owner and salesman correct. He was never treated with disrespect. It was explained multiple times the plywood was stapled down and shingles nailed. We were contacted about a nail puncturing a Freon line apparently very close to the underside of the decking. Nothing we could see. We could never get a number from *********** for **************** and were later told they did not want to get involved. This is the company that installed this unit not long ago and the company that said we punctured a line. We werent given a time to meet with the repair man and inspect for ourselves. So until pictures of *************** required by code for all lines installed within 1 1/4 inches of roof decking are produced showing our 1 1/2 nail going through it expect no payment from us. Take this up with **************** who installed and just repaired your line. I guess they didnt follow code when installing your Hvac unit. You might want to inspect the rest of their work.
