    I have lived in a rental home for 5 years (still do) that is managed my Action Now Property Management. The owner *** continues to retaliate against me, if god forbid I need to contact them about a repair. Front door **** was falling apart the day I moved in it took her 3.5 years to finally fix it; which is a security issue. I was contacted by City Of Poulsbo immediately upon moving in saying that my bill is much higher than everyone else so I must have a leak somewhere. They said a plumber that replaced my faucet in the bathroom. Mind you I just moved in so I dont have a lot of knowledge of the home there was a faucet outside that leaked. They turned off the waters so dont use it. I told him I could hear it leaking in the wall the plumber dismissed it, and that problem remains and Im paying a very high water bill and have been for five years. . My water heater broke during ***** and she took 40 days to fix it; blame it on Covid. She told me if I could find someone faster. They could get out faster to let her know I did that the gentleman called her three times and she never called him back. Shed rather have me wait 40 days without hot water! Most recently my bedroom doorhandle fell off in my hand and I was locked in my room. So instead of immediately calling the fire department who would have had to not only get in my bedroom but also my front door I remained locked in my room while I emailed the general company email. I received a response a day later from her specifically that started two things; tenants are not allowed to do any work on the home and since I had cats I must pay $500 per cat, at the same time she was telling me she didnt know I had pets and now wants to charge me she then stated she believed I had 2. Ive had cats for 10+ years. *** who works (or worked) for her and handled my move in transactions knew, obviously she also knew and the owner knows. she didnt try to help me or fix the situation cats since the day I moved in. She then proceeded to call me and tell me shes gonna send someone out on Sunday between 11-1. I asked who would be coming because I had work and would not be home. She refused to tell me. I told her that was unacceptable and I ended the call after that. She sent an email to not only me but the owner as well saying I refused the work therefore, the work order has been canceled.
