My 10 year old daughter has been taking coding classes with Coding with Kids for over 2 years. We have enrolled her in several different coding classes. She has always excelled in class. On September 15, 2022 my daughter was meant to start her latest series of classes. The classes were once a week for 8 weeks. Unfortunately, she was ill and could not attend the first class. I notified the instructor the day of the class. Since it was less then 24 hours from her class date, I could not reschedule the class. Therefore, she began this series on September 22, 2022. During that 1 hour class, her instructor belittled her, made rude comments and insulted her. An adult in this position should never bully a child! After the class, my daughter was in tears. After over 2 years, she wanted to stop attending the classes and wanted to give up a class that she was passionate about. The only way to reach the company was by email. I quickly emailed them and explained that my daughter would no longer be attending the class due to the bullying by one of their employees. We have been emailing back and forth for several weeks now. Only this week was I given a phone number that they would call me from. I was told that I could not contact them and they would contact me. I have a very busy work schedule and tried to call them during my lunch. The phone number did not work. I emailed them and explained that I couldnt take a call later that day as I was working late. I asked for a refund. I thought that it was only fair for me to pay for the class that my daughter missed. I didnt think it was right for me to pay for the class where my daughter was bullied so bad that it brought her to tears. I also didnt think it was right for me to pay for the remaining classes. I requested a refund for those 7 classes. They keep having me jump through hoops and have me define bullying. I explained what happened several times and they still wont accept responsibility. Ive attached my last few payments.

Coding with Kids represents that their top priority is to provide great experience to our students and to you as parents and further that If we fall short, let us know and we will work with you to correct the situation. This promise is false. My son has taken coding ladder classes for more than two years. During the last class, the teacher noted that she had received an email stating the class would be moving to 12:30 Eastern on Sundays, when it was actually scheduled for 6pm Eastern. She asked if anyone in the class had received a similar communication, and the answer was no. In fact, during the class I searched my email and checked my account. I had received no email, and the account reflected a class time of 6pm. All in attendance agreed that they wished the class to remain at 6pm.On Monday, my account was charged for the next eight week session ($225). AFTER I was charged, I logged into my account and noted that the time for the class had changed to 12:30pm, a move of four and a half hours. Coding with Kids has now conceded that they provided no notice whatsoever of this schedule change until after I was charged, and has not contested that no one who actually attends this class wants the time to change. They have utterly refused, however, to honor the schedule posted at the time I paid for the class or do anything other than tell me to change my family's schedule to accept other times which we cannot attend. This bait and switch is entirely unacceptable. My son very much likes his class and his teacher and would like to remain with Coding with Kids in the class that we paid for, at 6pm Eastern on Sundays. Coding with Kids refuses to acknowledge this as an option. Their stated rationale of "streamlining" their schedule was in no way an emergency that required an abrupt and unannounced change and would justify, at most, a change to 3:30 pm Eastern, not 12:30. I would like to hear from the *** regarding solutions to this impasse.
