I was receiving BBL Laser treatment and had to pay for treatment ahead of procedure. When the clinic shut down unexpectedly, I had already paid for my next treatment. I have e mailed them numerous times over the last year until eventually they stopped responding to any of my e mails. Dermatology Associates of Seattle still owe me money.

I had an appointment with the clinic (Dermatology Associates of Seattle) back in Feb 2023, for which I have already paid for. The receipt for this payment is attached. The clinic recently shut down. However, they keep sending me billing statements demanding payment for the Feb appointment even though the receipt and their web portal balance shows I have already paid it off. Since they are out of business, it has been impossible to contact them. My medical provider's name was ************************I am hoping to get a confirmation that the payment has gone through and get them to stop sending me billing statements, especially since the statements imply this could be sent to collection agency, which I'd imagine would further complicate the situation.

I am a patient at Dermatology Associates of Seattle, and microneedling was recommended to me as a cosmetic procedure by the dermatologist. Upon scheduling my first session, I was told that I had to pre-pay for the service, and that I would be billed for 3 sessions upfront. I paid $765.00 via my **************** card on June 8, 2022. I had my first and only microneedling session on July 8, 2022. I was not able to tolerate the procedure well, and could not tolerate the red light portion of the session at all due to extreme pain. I had to terminate the session early due to pain. I requested a refund for the remaining microneedling sessions at that time, and was told by the front desk that they needed to have the permission of the manager, and that the manager was not there at that time. I did not hear back regarding my refund. On August 27, 2022, I was in a hiking accident and had a large laceration to my forehead. I saw ****************, a dermatologist, at Dermatology Associates of Seattle, on September 29, 2022. At that time, I asked **************** about my options for reducing the appearance of the scar, as I could not tolerate the microneedling due to pain. He confirmed that I should not attempt any further microneedling sessions, and that my pre-paid sessions should be refunded to me. I was told by the administrative staff that a check would be mailed to me for the refund amount. After not receiving a check, I called and left a message with the administrative staff in January (I believe). I received a call back from the administrative staff that manages the payroll. She thanked me for following up with them directly versus making a complaint or taking other actions. She told me that the notes from my microneedling session noted that I was not able to tolerate the red light at all, and that I would receive a check in the mail within 7 days. I did not receive a check. At this juncture, I believe the full amount I paid should be refunded.
