      Jun 10, 2024, I had an appointment scheduled for today, and I had to wait over 2 months to get in. This morning I received a phone call at 7:30am that my appointment for today has been cancelled because of low staffing. I call during my lunch hour, and wouldn't you guess it, they are closed during lunch. So I call back around 1:05pm, and the person places me on hold before asking if that's OK (this was at the ************ *************** Then when the lady comes on the line and I express my frustration, because the Dr's will charge you a fee if you cancel the day of the appointment, but it's OK for them to do it without warning, she calls me rude, tells me to find another office and hangs up on me! First off, she doesn't confirm that my appointment has been cancelled, and that I won't be billed for it, however I assume this, but given the lack of service, I wouldn't be surprised if I am billed for a cancelled appointment to spite me because of the rude customer service. I don't really appreciate being blamed for a situation I didn't cause. I planned my entire day around this appointment, moving my schedule around to accommodate this appointment. There was no real try acknowledgement of that fact, nor the fact that the reason I scheduled this is because I have a mole growing on the back of my head that my wife who is a nurse is concerned about. This increases my stress level that I'm going to have to wait even longer to find out if I have something cancerous going on, and our son survived stage 4 hepatoblastoma at 6 years old, but of course this person doesn't know that, and my Father also passed away from stage 4 liver cancer. I want the Dr ****** who I was scheduled with to be aware that this is how their customer's are being treated. I did originally want to be rescheduled but wasn't given that option.

      I'm sorry that we had to cancel your appointment last minute due to low staffing. That is always a very last resort for us. We also had reached out to our other sister clinics to try and get more staffing to avoid canceling the scheduled but unfortunately we were unable to get the staff in and had to cancel the day. We would never charge a patient for a cancelation of an appointment on our end last minute or in advance.  We are also accommodating when patients have to cancel appointments and do not charge unless it is excessive as we do understand that things come up minute and are our of peoples control. We would absolutely be able to get you back on the schedule if you would like to have your concerns addressed.

      I had visited this clinic and was in and paid my balance in May of 2022. I have the credit card record to prove it. I have tried to contact their office multiple times. They say they do not know what is going on and will send a message to the billing office, to contact me. The billing office has never contacted me I have been fighting this for weeks. The office manager is almost never at work. I can show the fact that I paid my balance yet they will not help. I'm now stuck dealing with a collection company who I called who will not assist me in disputing this debt.
