    ?? Scam Attempt Using Luxoft Name Stay Away!Someone contacted me claiming to be from "Luxoft" through Upwork, saying the platform was having issues (?? first red flag). They insisted on holding the interview via ********* Teams chat only, no video or call just typing. During the chat, they kept showing off the company's website and history to make it seem legit.Thankfully, I checked BBB reviews before sharing any personal info, and saw others reporting the same suspicious behavior. That saved me a lot of time and stress.This is clearly a scam impersonating a real company.If someone reaches out with a similar approach, dont fall for it. Always verify, and trust your gut. Stay safe out here!

    I had the same experience with the "interview" conducted via the Telegram app. After telling me I got the job, I knew it was a scam when I got thes messages: ******* ******, [12/19/2023 5:52 PM]You're to purchase **************** card worth $200 then we Proceed with installation after purchase. The card would be use to process verification and software installation ,after purchase and installation has been achieved.. We proceed. You will be getting reimbursed within 24hrs via pay check or direct deposit. This card will be used to open up the portal you would be working on .... also installations of programs before sending out equipments ******* ******, [12/19/2023 6:00 PM]Credit top up are means of payment the company will be sending into your credit card for you to have your working materials purchased. The company would be fully responsible for all expenses which would be made into your card!So do you have a credit card and what is the limit on the card?

    Husband was on the chat with them in a weird suido interview asking all kinds of questions. I thought it was weird and then they were asking banking information and I started to look into the company. This is huge scam!

    I was contacted on a local neighbor site about a work from home site and she had me install an app on phone to be able to interview with a company called LUXOFT about a work from home job. I was contacted from the company through the app and they asked lots of questions. Don't know why they asked my cell phone company. After all the questions were done they said I got the work from home job. Then the weird questions started. They said they would send me a prepaid credit card to purchase the equipment for the job If they wanted me so much why ask me to purchase it. Then what really told me it was a scam they asked for all my banking info including my user name and password. That is totally illegal I told the person it was a scam and they responded your too smart.

    HUGE SCAM!! This company is a scam and should be shut down IMMEDIATELY! Someone i know applied to work here and after everything was said and done, they drained their whole bank account and even left them with a negative balance.
