(5/22/25), my daughter and I came in for massages. Unfortunately your hydrotherapy was closed with us being contacted by your spa twice to reschedule and then to cancel our hydrotherapy. We were never asked if we wanted to reschedule our massage or anything more than just being told that our appointments were changed. We had scheduled the Yuan Chinese Signature Massage and having had massages in the past, we were looking forward to experiencing the different forms of massage that were advertised. But that's not what we got. My masseuse gave a very basic deep tissue massage and my daughter's gave her a basic rub. My masseuse spoke very little and did one type of hard stroke using her forearm across my arms, shoulders, and legs. My daughter had a much worse experience with a chatty masseuse who commented about her hands and wrist when my daughter requested she rub harder (she said it was barely hard enough for blood movement let alone to reach the muscles). Instead of working on my daughter's back (like was requested), she only focused on her hips, arms, and legs. When asked if she could rub my daughter's shoulders, she complained that she already had and instead rubbed her feet twice. My daughter felt that she was taken advantage of due to her age and demeanor and given a weak massage due to the masseuse feeling my daughter wouldn't speak up for herself. We expected much more from trained masseuses. Neither massage was anything like was advertised and we should not have paid for services that were not properly rendered. As per your website we should have received the treatment described below but we did not get anything close to what was advertised. Neither of us had any Chinese Tuina, or acupressure, or table Thai, or tapotement, or lomo lomi done on us. No discussion or talk about qi or meridian lines or anything, just 2 massages that were done subpar by employees that didn't seem to care. Why offer specific massages if your masseuses don't do what is advertised?
