    My daughter tried out for the volleyball club and received an invitation to join which we had 24 or 48hrs to accept, which we did. On 8/9/2024, I sent a $1000.00 deposit for the membership dues. I continued to make monthly payments of $380 each month for the next 4 months. Unfortunately, some personal unforeseen circumstances happened and I had to withdraw my daughter from the club, which I did a day or two before the season started. I emailed the head coach numerous times to make sure he received my withdraw email and asking him about a refund since we had dropped out before the season started. I reviewed the contract we signed and I looked all over their website and there wasn't anything that stated anything about a refund or no refund at all. When I finally was able to get a hold of him, he informed me that the deposit was non refundable, but he would be willing to refund half ($500) of the deposit and my last payment of $380 which would total to $880 and that he would need my mailing address to cut a check and mail it out that week that was on 1/12/2025. I responded and asked him since the deposit was nonrefundable, would I be able to get all 4 payments of $380 back which would be $1520 since we withdrew before the start of the season and we never used their services. I have not heard back from him since. I emailed him on 1/12/2025, 1/13/2025 and 1/29/2025 to follow up and he has not responded. I have all email communications saved along with venmo transactions showing how much I have paid them. I did not want this to happen, but I am very upset due to the lack of communication and the fact that no where on the website or contract does it state anything about whether or not there is a refund or not. Since there isn't anything stated, I feel as though the right thing would be to refund me what I paid in since no services were rendered.

    It sounds like the ****, Did not receive the refund of $880 we agreed to refund. 

    We are a youth volleyball club who holds tryouts in July and has club members pay their monthly club dues once a month over the 9 months. We require a $1000 deposit and month dues that vary in cost. We spread the club does over 9 months to keep the club dues cost down. **** and her daughter agreed and committed to our club in August and began to pay club dues just like other members of or club

    $380 December Club Dues

    She did inform me that they would need to withdraw from the club on 11/29 

    We agreed to refund December payment as she withdrew before the month and refund her half of her deposit from August. $880

    We had sent a refund check out 1/22/25

    Our last communications received was 1/29

    We are willing to resend another refund check to her for the amount agreed.
