    We ordered a boat cover from Seaview Canvas in October of 2022 and paid a deposit of $1,000. The order was placed on Seaview Canvas invoice number ******* dated 10/14/2022. We placed the order with the owner of the shop who told us the boat cover would be ready at the end of November 2022. She evidently had some sort of personal issue that disrupted her business, but in March of 2023, she told us she would have it done "soon." We have not heard from her since March of 2023, despite multiple emails, texts, and even 2 letters sent to her at her shop. We have also stopped by the shop during normal business hours on several occasions, but the shop has been closed each time. In our most recent correspondences since July of 2023, we have been asking for the order to be cancelled and the deposit refunded, but have had no response to these requests, either.

    I want to bring to your attention my experience with a fraudulent company supposedly providing Boat Covers, Biminis, etc. The name of the company is SeaView Canvas, **********************************************************************************. ************. The proprietor is *************************. Last October I contracted with ***** to build ** a new Bimini top, glass front and side panels. The quoted project was $10,000.00, 50% due upon signing. She came to the boat, appeared legitimate, talked a good game about what was required, but once she had the initial $5,000.00 that was the last time I saw her. Over the first six weeks there intermittent excuses of supply chain problems, personal medical emergencies, and weather, and then, complete silence. No calls, no texts to any of my queries. I even went to her office in ********** which is locked up, disheveled looking, no one there during supposed office hours.. To add insult to injury she took my old ****** and never returned it.
