I came to this place for an engine replacement because the owner was a good friend of my cousin, so my family trusted him. He had my car for a year supposedly because it was difficult to find parts and other reasons I dont know about. The only reason why I didnt take my car someplace else during that time was because the owner, **** loaned me one of his vehicles. Finally, **** informed me they were unable to actually fix my car and I took it to ******************** North. Their inspection results disturbed me to say the least. They said that some spark plugs were loose in holes and that none of the plugs put in were in good condition so all the parts that I paid for at Bothell Import I had to re-pay for. The crank sprocket they put in my car was not the correct one for the car so I again had to re-pay for some thing I paid for. Several brackets and hardware on engine was missing and had to be replaced and added. Heater hoses were routed wrong. there was tightening down, middle timing belt idler, and got loose. Threads were pulling out and they needed to install thread repair because of it. The left side cam sprocket was different than what was supposed to be on it so again, I needed to buy a new part for something I already paid for. I paid for an engine replacement at Bothell Import and they wound up permanently, damaging my car. There is now a permanent exhaust leak because a head needed to be drilled and taped to fit a pipe into the engine in order to accommodate it was not sitting squarely, allowing a leak. The threads will not be able to be fixed. I'm not even naming everything. The people at All Wheel Drive told me that there was mistakes that they caught that if they hadnt caught them my car wouldve either exploded or wouldve caused some very serious long-term issues. I dont know if I can get a full refund but I feel certain Bothell Import doesnt deserve $4,000.

Our Kia ****** car was towed to Bothell Import on December 6, 2022. The problem appeared to be the starter. The business owner, ****, said he would look at the car and have an answer by Dec. 7. When we did not get an answer by then, I called the business. The answering machine was full and would not accept new messages. I went in person and found the business closed and empty. My van remained untouched in the same location where it was dropped off. At one point a week later, I went to the business and found someone to talk to. The employee said he would have the car repaired within two days. That did not happen, and once again, the business did not respond to calls or several in-person visits, and their answering machine remains full. As of December 25, there is a sign on the door that says they are closed until January 3rd due to a family emergency.
