    ***** application of the japanese thermal hair straightening Yuko treatment left me with chemical burning on my scalp post treatment. My scalp is in pain on the daily, and my hair has been shedding more rapidly than it did before the treatment. I have made several attempts to get help from *** and she evades my inquiry for help surrounding the chemical burning. Original review:I got the Japanese thermal straightening done at Amys salon. During my visit, *** was not very friendly towards me, but we were able to proceed with the service anyway. (I had questions about how she landed at my price estimate for the service, and she had a bit of an attitude but it smoothed over.) By the end of the service, I initially did like my result - my hair looked sleek, smooth and straight. However, in the next few weeks I contacted *** with questions about how to care for my hair to keep it in good condition, and in my experience she has not been as responsive as I would like from my hair stylist. My scalp has been burning and my hair is shedding since the treatment, and this is concerning as I already struggle with hair loss. I have since read that Japanese thermal straightening can cause hair fall. I have tried contacting *** for stylist advice for post treatment, and she does not respond. Overall, for the cost and the investment, I am disappointed in this experience and especially Amys customer ********************** towards me. I see that other customers have positive reviews, and I would have liked a similar outcome.
