??????QUALSTAR CREDIT UNION One of the most glaring issues is Qualstar Credit Union's deceptive fee structures. The fine print of their terms and conditions seems designed to confuse rather than clarify. Hidden fees, undisclosed charges, and ambiguous language plague their agreements, leaving customers blindsided by unexpected financial burdens. This lack of transparency is not only unethical but also erodes the foundation of trust upon which any credit union should stand. In addition, Qualstar Credit Union's unethical reliance on TransUnion, the lowest FICO reporting agency, reveals a distressing commitment to profit over member welfare. By utilizing this subpar credit reporting agency, Qualstar seemingly justifies imposing higher interest rates on its members, paving the way for predatory loans. This exploitative approach undermines the very essence of credit unions, eroding trust and placing financial burden on those seeking support. Members beware; Qualstar's dubious tactics prioritize revenue at the expense of your financial well-being, raising serious questions about the institution's commitment to ethical lending practices. Approach with extreme caution and consider alternative, member-focused financial institutions.

We have received and reviewed the compliant you filed with the Better Business Bureau. You mentioned hidden fees, undisclosed charges,ambiguous language in our agreements and concern with Qualstars use of TransUnion for obtaining credit reports. Qualstars sources for and use(s) of credit reporting information, and all membership and loan documentation governing and disclosing fees and terms, are reviewed and examined regularly for compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
If there are specific fees and/or language you have concerns about and feel were not disclosed appropriately, please provide the details and we will investigate.
