I wouldnt recommend this company at all! ********************* did our estimate and scheduled but when came that we agreed on to install our windows came and went. **** told us it was due to his install team had a late start date the job prior and our job would now be delayed and was just the start to our problems. Our windows were installed in April and its now August and we still have no screen door for our back patio slider. I spoke with **** at the end of July about the status of our patio screen door as well as some other defective screens on the windows supposedly being taken care? **** told me they had arrived, which I later found out had been sent to me in a single email around the first part of June, but other than that there was no other attempt to contact me or my family while I had an unexpected extended stay in the hospital. In fact the communication from **** or anyone else has never existed, and even after talking to **** at the end of July and confirming that our screen and replacement screens had arrived and that **** would have ******* come and install them. Its now two weeks later and still no screens or update from ****. For the most part we feel like are satisfaction wasnt important once our job was done to their standards, an Perdue Builders & Supply, Inc. | **************** got all of our money besides $500 that we got to hold onto while we waited for our screen door, and honestly we really dont believe we should owe them anything after this whole experience with Perdue Builders & Supply, Inc. | ****************. Especially after having to tell them how to do their job or explain to **** and the head owner what proper craftsmanship. Things like seal smeared all over the windowsills, outside windows not properly sealed, sharp edges left on bathroom windowsill, having to pick up trash and scrape off excess caulking, and already having to repaint our new entry door.

    1.  After the windows arrived and we began the installation, we were back ordered on the the sliding Patio door "screen" along with a couple of the window screens having small tears from shipping.  Unfortunately due to window manufacturer supply chain issues we have had more back orders on Patio Screens this year than ever before.  We suggested that he hold back $500 to cover the screens until we received them and delivered them.  Which he was happy with.

    2.  After a long delay the screens finally arrived and we emailed **** to set an install time.  We had no way of knowing that he was hospitalized and had no other communication until he was back home.  He then contacted us and we indicated we would check with one of our guys to set up a time to bring them out.  He was fine with that and said no hurry,  whenever we can get out would be fine.  Being our busiest time of year we delayed setting that up and failed to communicate that to *********  That is ALL on us for a failure to communicate.

    3.  Last week (August we had our Project Manager out to Granite Falls to install the screens and credited the balance due of $500 ****.

We again apologize for the failure to communicate in a timely fashion and wish **** well after his hospital stay.

    Sincerely,

    *************************************
