      i wish i can put no stars but i can't, they **** i can't pay online because they don't like my bank ***** Fargo and that i have to validate it, I called and get the run around that it takes 3 day to do, well 2 months later still cant pay online and have to pay on the phone and get charged $25 fee to do. Stay away from them

      Kitsap uses very deceptive business practices. Had a car loan with them and a credit card. I called uncountable times to look at my statement because I was unable to log in to the app or the online banking. When I called to ask for a paper statement they said we charge $25 for each statement I wanted. And mysteriously I was signed up with paperless billing. This credit union needs to be sued for such deceptive practices consumer beware!

      Absolutely terrible, would not recommend at all, terrible customer **********************, i have been trying to make my first payment for 2 weeks now and it's not going through, nothing wrong on my checking account side that i use to pay all my bills, but with them it's impossible, i regret taking their offer.

      This has been the most member-friendly credit union I have banked with. I'm not sure why I'm seeing so many bad reviews. Our checking account yields dividends just for using it, we have a low-rate credit card, and the customer ********************** is outstanding.

      I note that each of the numerous reviews for kitsap credit union, are rated as low as you can get. I too had a car loan through kitsap and I discovered that they falsely reported to the credit bureau that I was 8 payments late. Each month for nearly 2 years, they deducted my payments directly from my bank. They charged me more interest tham my loan documents call for, then they lie about it; I cannot log in to my acct. online and ********************** refuses to email me how I can correct this so I can discover what kitsap has done to me. I do not trust kitsap credit union whatsoever and I am sorry I ever went to them.... 7-20-2023

      I have a car loan through Kitsap that I have paid for over 2 years with no issues. DEC 2023 I had an automatic payment get declined even though I had the funds. I went online and the website was down. I couldn't log-in to the app, and I assume the issues they were having involved it. I called and their systems were down. They called me after I had failed to pay them within 30 days. They tacked on a late-fee and reported to the credit bureau that I was 30 days late on my payment. I requested to speak to a manager in regards to me trying to pay but not able to because of Their problems. We scheduled a time and I never got called. This past ***, same issue only this time the app and online said I didn't have a valid payment option. I called and the system was down. They called me, I paid for *** and June. I was told there wasn't an automated payment set up, so I set one up to begin July 2nd. They took a payment yesterday, June 5th, unauthorized, only this time there was insufficient funds and they didn't have any problems taking the payment putting me well into a hole. I will admit that after a scathing phone call I got my money back within 24 hours, but I can't do business with them anymore and am actively looking at trade-in offers.

      Kitsap credit union customer ********************** has fallen from great to pathetic over the last few years. I applied for a credit card to use for online purchases. I currently use SW card for airline miles but would prefer a cash back card. I've been a member since the mid 90's and currently have 90k in accounts there. I was denied the card bc they say credit to income ratio is extended. My credit score was 839 in March 2023. I have no credit card debt, no car payment nothing but living expenses which total about $1600 a month. They didn't call and ask for additional information or do anything but deny. No extra effort provided. They owe me a letter of apology for failing to accurately process my application. From reading some of the reviews. Credit union has lost its professionalism. For the folks out there. Use the credit union for your deposits into accounts that pay interest. Get your loans and credit elsewhere and save yourself the frustration.

      I dont know whos running Kitsap credit union now, but Ive been a member for years and I had a fabulous interest-rate with my credit card. Until they blatantly raised it with no reason. There are new interest rates that they are charging customers is by their own accord no other reason, and for them to simply raise my rate when Ive had nothing but exemplary payment history, so because theyre a deceptive company. Now I moved all my money from Kitsap credit union to a different credit union that gave me the rate I was receiving remember, a credit union is a company, they make the decision on what they are going to charge you. Dont be tricked or fooled by the car salesman tactics, its really sad how a good company can go bad with a simple change in ownership of the company go to any other credit union to save yourself the headache

      If I could them negative stars, I would. We have a vehicle loan through Kitsap. Last month, our payment was reversed, which they charged us for. They said we may have had the payment coming out of the wrong bank account. The payment clearly came out of our bank which showed on our statement. We then made a payment over the phone once we got notified our payment was returned. The payment then came out AGAIN two days later. We had to make the payment over the phone, which cost an additional $10. This month, a two payments came out, once of which was returned. AGAIN another $32 charge. When we called, the lady was patronizing and acted like we were stupid. She said we were ahead a payment, yet out $74 because of their God awful system. When we asked for a paper coupon book, we were told they no longer do that. When were then told we were now locked out of our account for six months because of the two returned payments, yet we are ahead in payments. This is asinine. We will NEVER get a loan from Kitsap again. Just ridiculous.

      Prior to deployment my husband set up our vehicle payment through Kitsap credit union. During the deployment KCU apparently tried pulling payment from our savings and NFCU denied payment. This was NOT how it was set up. This was an error in their system. I am not on the account and can't get information from KCU. As soon as my husband arrived home from deployment KCU re possessed our vehicle. Our only vehicle for our five kids. Mind you this was just days after my husband spoke with someone at KCU to fix the situation. They now are denying our payment and will not allow us to get our vehicle back. Not to mention their customer ********************** has been nothing but awful.
