Over a year ago I met with ***** to help me to file the paper work for probate closing . I signed the agreement paid some money for some work for that day and she said she will get back with me when finish my case. The problem I had with ***** she just disappeared. She never got back with me after I signed the agreement. She never answered my phone several calls, never responded to my emails. I had a legal matter is going on and no longer could wait for Tanyas response. So, I went with the different paralegal firm who did job for me in short period of times. ***** called me to apologize that she had personal family issue and thats why she could not respond to me. I told ***** since its been a long time I had to hire another firm to do the work she didnt do for me as we discussed and wished her best with her family. Year later collection company calling me to tell me that I owe ***** $180. I am like WHAT ??? I called her like 5 times a left a voice message asked her to call me back to explain but she still doesnt returning my calls. If she would be honest she would not be running away from me to respond my question. I am about to call my attorney but collection said they dispute the case. Still want everyone know not to get into business with ***** who is totally dishonest and fishy person. If you do be very careful and record every step with her.

******** hired me to help her with her legal paperwork on August 30, 2021. She signed a contract which stated her fee was $200. The day she came to my office she claimed she forgot the money and was going to go to an ATM but trying to be nice I told her she could just pay when I finished her paperwork. I completed all the final paperwork and she NEVER paid me. Below is the emails between us that reflect she didn't tell me she went to someone else to do her paperwork. She stated she contacted an attorney for advice since I couldn't give her advice but she got a paralegal in *********** to break the law and give her legal advice. ******** is retaliating against me for sending her account to collections. The collections company did not submit any dispute of her claim. This is not the first site she has left negative and false information. Court is the next step.

Omg  !!! Thats awful to hear about your daughter. How old is she ? And what happened ?  Glad to hear she is back home to her mama.
Anyway, I had consultation with legal advice on the phone and they said until I dont sell the house I really can not complete probate. Its stats open until I sale the property.  What do you think about that ?

    ********,

I apologize for not getting ahold of you sooner. My daughter was missing and I wasn't working at all. She has been found. Thank God. I thought since your paperwork wasn't due until November we were ok and then I got your messages. I have the paperwork almost completed. I just need the inventory list and a couple of other things. I am going to attach the paperwork to this email so you can see what we need. Again, I apologize for the non-communication. Hope you are well.

Thank you! Have a great day!

It is important to note the distinction between a paralegal and an attorney. Paralegals are able to assist in the creation of various legal documents, drafting for different processes, and act in several other vital support roles, but they are not able to provide legal advice. State law requires that all paralegals refrain from offering counsel, advice, and guidance on legal matters. Should you wish to engage someone for those services, you should contact an attorney-at-law.
