      I purchased a 2019 chevrolet tahoe premier for $70,000 from Haselwood on February 12th of 2022 . I paid for the maintenance converage. In less than a year of owning the vehicle I have encountered powersteering issues. I returned the vehicle to Haselwood for diagnostic and repairs on the 8th of December 2022. After diagnostics were completed the dealership with uncertainty concluded the cause of power steering issues were due to transfer case was low on fuild 12th of December. The dealership representative stated "We were unable to find what was causing the powersteering issues most likely it was the transfer cause was low on fuild but without a cause we won't be able to cover the repair." Now I am being billed $332.64 for a uncertain repair that isn't covered but the coverage I purchased. I feel like I am being cheated and taken advantage of. I have recommended Haselwood to our friends and family in the past. This experience has been very disappointing.

      Tell us why here...Our customer, *************************, brought in their 2019 Tahoe with ****** miles on it in for a concern that the power steering is going out. The vehicle was outside of its manufacturer 3yr/36,000-mile warranty due to miles. The technician was unable to duplicate the customers concern.According to the technicians notes, he found no message on IPC onboard computer, and experienced no steering issues during road test and diagnosis. He did find multiple low voltage codes, so he tested and charged the battery;battery checked okay. He did not recommend a repair for the customers service contract to cover since we could not duplicate the concern. We recommended that the customer return with the vehicle when the problem returns asked that they stop by the dealership if a message is present or if the concern returns to go on a ride with the technician to confirm. ***************** contract would not cover diagnosis nor would they cover the rental car expense since there was no problem found. Charged the customer for the diagnosis fee as originally quoted plus the rental amount as originally agreed to by the customer. After the customer protested the bill for the rental and technician diagnosis believing their service contract would cover the expense, we did not charge the customer when they picked up the vehicle, out of good will.
