I am rejecting this response because:

The business is clearly ignoring the issues.  #1 they gave a written response to my email of "Not more than $5,000."  He sent sub-par employees who did a c*** job.  Probably charged for all the MANY travel times to ********** to get parts because they were not prepared.  They had to come back because WA State LNI found errors in their work.  Additionally, they left garbage throughout my property.  The last two days, two separate people were shocked on my property.  And the breakers that do work are 'tripping'.  Clearly they did a poor job and I have already had another electrician come do some repairs, they are coming back for the shockings and they breakers that keep flipping.  I have no lights in kitchen or living room and several outlets do not even work.  I ask you, what did that $10,000 buy?  This invoice is a list of parts.  I am not an electrician, I know nothing about their parts.  As an accountant, I would like to know how there is 110 of 1 item that describes as ***** ft.  That seems excessive for a 1100 sf house.

The bill IS in COLLECTIONS and I would like to resolve this quickly.  My next step is to contact an attorney.  Please advise of BBB's position.

    Thank you.

    Sincerely,

    ****** *****

a baseboard heater that has never worked for us and we bought the house if 2008. He left a vanity next to the now hot heater as well as a medicine bottle on top. Luckily I check on my house several times a day. I am not looking for a 2nd house fire when I am still fixing this one. I was at the house several days they supposedly worked and they were not there long at all. Which I suspect is why it took him 5 working days instead of 2 as stated in his 1st email. My employee was present on the site most of the time they were there. To resolve this issue, I would like Exodus Electric to withdraw the invoice (2nd, I paid 1st ASAP) from collections, amend said invoice to be less than $5,500(I allow for 10% on estimates). Please let me know what options are available. I am a widow in my forties and am on a fixed income. I feel like **** at Exodus Electric is taking advantage of this fact. I tried to talk/email to/with him about this on SEVERAL occasions to no avail.

    Business Response

The verbal estimate we gave her was to install a new 200 amp service on the side of her house with one working outlet next to it. We told her several times that we were unable to give her a estimate to re-run the home runs inside her home as we did not know how many and to were we would have to run them. If we had not done the work she still would not have power in her home. She also added additional work including adding heaters to the job. She disputed the bill with the collection agency and did not get anywhere now she is disputing with the BBB I am sure it will be to someone else next week. Her bill is with the collection agency and she can make arrangements with them for payment.
