      I was wanting to rent an apartment at *************. I called the phone number on their sign:**********, also **********, also **********. I finally was able to speak to a real person and not a recording. Her name was *******. She explained to me that before filling out an application, I needed to qualify to be eligible to apply. First she wanted to know our income which was more than 3 times the amount of rent which was $**95 a month. She asked if we could verify our income, drivers license and everything else. She then told me that we do qualify and that we needed to go online and fill out their renter's application and then pay $55 each for my wife and I. She told me that unit #** had 2 applicants ahead of us , but there was another unit being remodeled, unit#**, and she would put our application first in line if we wanted that apartment, we said yes. today I called to see how the remodeling was coming along and she tells me that we were *************** complaint is that she already quallified us so I payed for the application fees. She also told me that she sent me an email explaining why we were disquallified. This is a lie. I recieved other emails from her but nothing saying we were disquallified. I want my money returned and these people need to be stopped from running their skam on people in real need of finding a home.

      Good afternoon, ****, unit #** at ************* is going to be a major rehab and will be available for rent but may be a couple of months out.  If you would like to view this property, please let us know.  You were not denied but the other unit rented. Your application was never run, and your money was never spent. A refund was issued May 19th on our end and takes 3 to 5 days.  If you look at your account by the end of the week money should be issued back to your card.  Please note that we use a 3rd party on credit and background checks for the application processing and the money is coming back from there end. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

      I contacted them to alert them that I had bugs infesting my apartment. It took them nearly 10 days to get someone out to look, because the landlord didn't want to send a pest control service even after I sent tons of pictures AND VIDEO of bugs inside my apartment, making holes in my walls and cieling, and literally falling off the walls. They finally sent someone who said I have carpet beetles and he would recommend that he spray the trim because he doesn't spray walls or cielings as it's too messy. (How will that solve the issue but ok) as I knew it would happen the bugs slowly returned because they are inside the walls of my unit, and the hallway outside my front door. I have emailed them over and over and over new pictures and they do not reply. My son's father died three weeks ago and I have to come home and clean up bugs, keep all our laundry in bags, we cannot put our dishes in the cabinets, our life here is h*** My son literally cannot stand the stress. It's asinine that they will not acknowledge the issue and fix what legally needs to be done. I'm literally shocked. Not only are the bugs inside my apartment now but I've had to kill a nest inside my 2015 ****** So literally I have to clean my car every day, so laundry every day, clean my apartment every day, make sure all fabrics are sealed up and I cannot even sleep in my bedroom. All with a grieving child who I SHOULD BE FOCUSED ON. They have broken so many rcw's and the warrant of habitability, I think I need a lawyer because we cannot live like this any longer. This company should be looked into for their practices as they are not legal. I have spent over 2k of my own money on insecticide, cleaning products, hotels (when they're too bad) and I'm literally breaking out in rashes that my doctor has been sending me medicine after medicine for that will NOT GO AWAY. I have bites on the top of my feet, that caused my feet to go numb and have never regained feeling. I am appalled. No rent reduction. Nothing.

      The following was sent this morning to the tenant.  We are working on getting a second company out to give us a second look. This morning the tenant stated that the bugs only come out at night. 


      Thank you for allowing us to meet at your home this morning at 8am. I had the pest control company with me today. This was his second visit. During the first visit he didn't see any active signs of any bugs but did spray and dusted the areas you stated you were seeing bug activity. This morning I wanted to join him to see what was going on inside the home. We didn't see any active bugs today. You did move a shelf and pointed to what you thought was a bug. We have this and are going to have it looked at to identify what it is.

      We will be calling you after this email to schedule a new company to give us a second opinion. We are wanting to help you but need to understand what you are seeing so we can take care of it.

      I had a credit card on file to make a monthly storage space payment of $150. This arrangement started in September 2022.In February that card became compromised somehow. I called the company and could only get their answering machine. I asked them to call me so I could pay with a different card until the other could be replaced. Or if I do not hear from you I will pay once the replacement card arrives.On April 6th day I received a series of threatening letters stating that hey are sizing my property Unless I pay immediately. I called and when I got through I told the lady that is not acceptable to threaten me like that 1 day past the due date plus I called and asked your company to return my call and you did not.Never heard anything back except that they charged my credit card $25. Late fee. This is wrong and fraudulent charge w/o my permission. I secured other storage from a different company. I called the same lady back and told her I was done by the end of the month (2 weeks) Now they are trying to extort another full month. This is a very bad company and they need to return my money.

      We require 30 day notice to vacate the storage, the appropriate notice was not given. We also do not set up any credit card payments or set up automatic payments, this is done by the customer thru their portal. I have spoken to the customer after receiving the notice from the BBB. The customer has never reached out to us about this issue. We can provide anything needed upon request.
