To be fair, I purchased this dump trailer from a third party that had just bought it from Tytan Tractor AG. It came with a Certificate of Manufacture. That document is now at the ** DOT since I registered it. This is a 2020 model dump trailer that was sold as a demo to the other party for 9500. Since it was older and basically had never been used, I took it to a business that specializes in trailers to have the wheel bearings packed and brakes fixed. After they had it for a day, they called me to come in and discuss what was found. Issue #1 the dump trailer is 9'10" wide, State and federal law says max allowed is 8'6". #2 They had issues removing the left rear brake drum. It was found that the bearings were installed by heating them so they would fit over axle. The rear seal was not installed so the grease was all over the brake pad. They could not get the other 3 drums off, so it is assumed that they are installed the same way. With grease on the brake pads the brakes are not very useful. #3 The axles are installed upside down which puts the brake adjustment on top of the axle not on the bottom where you have access. #4 The wiring is not up to code. It is put together with temporary connections, the wire changes colors the further back you go and held together with electrical tape. #5 The trailer is rated at ******lbs but has a ******lb hitch. I have sent emails to Tytan Tractor AG and at first, they would listen but now radio silence. They claim that the prior owners never said anything about what I found. Which may be true since I bought it before he could use it. Bottom line is I now have a piece of equipment I can't use in my business. The trailer will not even fit on the scales at the dump or gravel pit (to wide). I just want Tytan tractor to take this back and give me one that is legal and that is manufactured correctly. I have spoken with **DOT and the **SP and both are very clear about the use of this trailer on public roads, ILLEGAL.

    ATTORNEY GENERAL OF WASHINGTON
    ATTENTION : Atty  Mr **** *****
    May 22, 2025

    Dear ****,
I just received your note last week.
Mr ******* called me a few weeks ago and mentioned he had purchased a Tytan Trailer from Majestic Landscape. I called the Majestic Landscape fellow who purchased the trailer "used" from the Tytan Ag Store and asked him about what problems he had with the Tytan Dump trailer. He mentioned only one item that he was going to repair it himself and that was why he never called Tytan for service work. Well that was a far cry to what Mr ******* claims that was wrong with the trailer. ******* read me on the phone a huge list of things.  Retail price of the trailer we are discussing is $15,995 for the wide version.
Mr ******* mentioned he could not get the bearings off the trailer to replace them.. I told him if he brought the trailer by our shop, that I was sure we could help him out and get them pulled off.
I asked Mr ******* when he first noticed the problems he had listed off to me on the phone. He said he had only gone a half mile after buying the Trailer from Majestic and pulled over where he made the observation of all the problems.
The problem I see with this is "why didnt he turn around and get his money back if the problems were so great."
Here are the facts of this case :
    1) Tytan has no written relationship with Mr ******* or written  obligations due him.
    2)   The FIRST owner of the trailer in question,"used the trailer a very short time"  and then came up with some different needs for s trailer and he wanted us to get him a different trailer.
Thus the Trailer in question was back on our lot as a hardly used Trailer, and was almost in new condition.  We refer to a new like condition trailer, to be in demo condition.
    3)  Majestic came to our lot and purchased the Trailer in question at a very good price. (second owner)
4). The purchase Terms of the Tytan Trailer in our first sale and to Majestic were the same. See attached below.
5).  Mr ********* intention in presenting this claim, was to defame Tytan in hopes of pressuring Tytan to provide  a free narrowing conversion to the Trailer.  Mr ********* expertise in describing the supposed problems with the trailer, can only be described as showing he is very knowledgeable mechanically.

There is no way that Mr ******* did not understand he was buying a WIDE version trailer from Majestic. There is no way that he could have missed the many faults that he had listed to me on the phone. They would have been extremely obvious in the first quater mile when he left with the trailer.  If the Trailer issues were as Mr ******* claims, there would NOT have been any delay in his turning around in the first quarter mile and returning the trailer to Majestic, demanding his money back.

The ANSWER is in the price Mr ******* paid for the trailer vs the NEW PRICE value. He made a very good purchase, no matter what condition the trailer was in.
    Sincerely

    **** *******
