My neighbor was using this company to fertilize their lawn. I watched the owner of this company spray fertilizer in my neighbors lawn, the wind was blowing and fertilizer blew onto my car and my daughters car. When I washed my car, I noticed spots all over the right side of my car. I washed it again and spots were still there. Same thing happened to my daughter when she washed *******.I contacted my neighbor about the situation and he said that they fired this company as the fertilizer was getting sprayed onto their belongings, leaving the spots as well. My Neighbor gave me the name of the company, owners name and phone number.I contacted the owner, told him about the spots on both cars and at first he said that there was not a Camaro (my car) in my driveway when he sprayed. I let him know that it was there and that I was watching him spray fertilizer on the lawn. He then said that I couldn't prove that it was his spray that caused the spots. I asked him how to get the spots off of my car and he said to use soap and water. I informed him that I washed my car twice with soap and water and the spots were still there. I asked him what he would do to get the spots removed from both my car and my daughters and he said (as he chuckled) he wasn't going to do anything because I couldn't prove that it was his fertilizer that caused the spots. All I want is for him to take responsibility to get the spots removed from both of our cars. Thank You,*****

Since I was unable to respond to ******************** complaint previously, allow me to retort.

**************** called me 3 weeks after I treated her neighbor's property claiming that I got lawn material on her car.  This is a false claim for a number of reasons.

    1.  There were no cars in her driveway.  I am keenly aware of my surroundings while working.  In the 20 plus years that I've maintained the property next door to her there has never been a car in the driveway.  She claims that she was home, but that must also be false since she made no effort to come outside to speak to me.

    2.  Any materials I use will rinse off with water.  No soap required.  If she did get into something, it did not come from my equipment.

    3.  In the complaint she sent, she stated that the neighbors had cancelled because I've sprayed their cars as well.  False.  I've known *** and *** for over 20 years.  Not once have they mentioned that I may have gotten materials on their vehicles.  That's because it never happened.  They did, however, cancel the remainder of this season because they got worms in their cherries.

In closing, it has long been an observation of myself and my peers that homeowners tend not to pay attention to their property until someone like myself comes to do some work.  Then, suddenly, anything wrong must have happened "right after you sprayed."  Then, they try to work you for some free stuff.   Well, grasshoppers, I don't play that game.  I did nothing wrong, so you'll have to fix your own issue.

    That is all.

First off, there were TWO CARS in the driveway, mine and my daughters, which both have spray stains on our cars.

second, I did not state that the spray was on my neighbors cars.

third, I did not realize the stains until I washed my car and my daughter washed hers.

All I am asking is for the owner to own up and just get the stains off of my car.

Please, **** take ownership for the overspray that is now on my car!

    thank you
