    This is the shadiest company *** ever worked with. Do not trust this company! For example, when we first move in, they give you a welcome packet and a gift card for food cant redeem it - it doesnt work and trying to reach out to the Joseph group, they will ignore your emails. So much for welcoming us to the rental home. Another example, when you move out, they will literally keep most of your refundable deposit and come up with lots of repairs costs the owner had to pay without any proof even when you asked for the actual paid invoice, not a quote of charges from the cleaning company. I asked for a copy of the paid receipts - did not get it. During the rental, there are mandatory inspections which we passed but when you move out, they will find all kinds of things needed repairs. Definitely we regret renting from this company and the owners. Read carefully and unless youre desperate, like us, do not rent from this company. Also, you will not even get 50% of the deposit back even though they advertised themselves as the company who will fully refund the deposit - our biggest mistake for not checking the negative reviews on BBB on this company.

    We went to the first available showing of a listing that had only been posted for a couple hours. After the tour I asked about the application process and what to expect. She said they will take the first 5-6 applications and make a decision by the middle of next week. After spending a good chunk of time filling out the entire application I received an email shortly after saying they had already chosen a tenant. I called the lady who gave us a tour and she said the applicant was already pre approved before they took a tour of the house. I feel like we never even had a chance to be considered as tenants and they completely disregarded my entire application. This is a very shady company that we will be avoiding in the future.

    The portal and application process were very smooth. Once we had everything sorted out for the security deposit and first month's rent, that's when everything went downhill. It all started with one of the property managers *****************************. She is unresponsive, rude, condescending, and ignores messages when they aren't convenient for her. She has left an absolutely terrible impression on myself and my partner and we will relocating as soon as we are able. The sad reality is that she is surrounded by professionals who know how to communicate properly and problem solve, but she has single handedly stained and ruined the hardwork of her colleagues and the reputation of this company in the eyes of a willing, amicable, and reasonable tenant. As we speak, there are unanswered emails with questions that need answers. Things that require less than a minute to respond to and radio silence is what we get. Dodge the bullet.

    Joseph group did an excellent job! As I said, I have been working with this company for several years and they manage my properties. I can say that they are the most efficient and user-friendly company I have ever encountered. The Information you need, will always comes to you at the right time, most recently when I was traveling in Asia this ******* *** of my properties had a serious leaking problem. ****** notified me promptly, arranged all repair work, and answered all my questions. It can be said that her work is very efficient and effective. Then you can spend the holiday with peace of mind. During my trip, she helped me handle all insurance claims. I got my check today. What I am saying is that if you want a management company that doesn't have to worry about anything and takes good care of your property, then come here.

    The Joseph Gang would be a more appropriate name.Before moving in, I dismissed the negative reviews as disgruntled irresponsible tenants. I found out the hard way & paid, in more ways than one, for my arrogance.When we moved in, there were various items in the bathroom, plungers, toilet brushes, a filthy bathroom rug & a dirty shower caddy. Presuming they were a part of the unit, we left them but were charged at the end for leaving. **** ignored my message pointing this fact out to him. Upon moving in, there was a large carpet remnant in the hall marked with the unit ********************* to not remove the carpet piece. Never for a moment could we imagine that wed be accused of putting it there &, worse, getting charged for its removal.Upon our leaving, the garage door *************** keys were left on the kitchen counter in plain sight. However, its our word versus ************* picked up a quick couple hundred dollars by asserting that they were not returned. When we moved out we wanted to make sure that the owner wouldnt miss his rent payment. However, the payment portal was closed, my *************mails werent answered so I wasnt able to pay until several days into the new month. So much for their commitment to look out for the interests of the owners.Leading up to & following the move out, phone messages and e-mails went unanswered. However, one Sunday when I appealed to **** to consider working with us on the fees, he didnt have any problem with an immediate and condescending rebuff.***************** to have us renew months ahead of the lease term end & they also charged an administrative fee for the lease renewal.I left the utilities on confident that their apply their policy of having successor renters open utilities prior to move in. I got gas bills for months after vacating.Unfortunately, they operate in tight markets with few options. Use them only as a last resort.*************** be tall in stature but ethically, hes a pygmy.

    Where do I start. Maybe with a lease that had the date of lease as 1 day, the fact that we were not informed about 2 couples and their kids living in our home, the lying, telling us we would get a $500 dollar rebate and not getting it, not telling us there were dogs in the home. I actually have an email where Joseph tells me that he will get me the serial number for the rebate and an email where I asked ****** if the tenants have pets and she responded with no, the tenants do not have pets or maybe when we had to pay over $7,000 dollars to have our house repainted and walls repaired because the tenants destroyed them. The list goes on and Im sure they will respond to this review just like they did the other one and deny any wrong doing and put the blame on me because thats what their good at. They lie and blame everyone else and take no responsibility. I can just image the rude response to this review. The truth hurts.

    They get groups of people to come an apply for places and turn around one to two days later tell you that someone else has got the place. It is a scam to take peoples money. Youre better off going to someone that is more professional.

I understand that you *** be disappointed that your application was not approved. However, we never received any correspondence or requests for an application refund from you, so Im surprised that you posted this to BBB. I'm further surprised to receive your review as we have always disclosed our process upfront, and you still chose to continue with the application.Regarding your accusation of scamming people, we use a third-party screening company which applicants pay directly, so we do not profit or benefit from the application fees in any way. Your accusation is false and quite concerning considering you submitted this without doing any fact finding whatsoever.I do regret any miscommunication or misunderstanding that *** have occurred during the process. Had you simply reached out to us directly before taking this course of action Im confident we could have had a satisfactory resolution.
