**** came to my no start vehicle in ********* 10/22/22, paid for diagnostic, he determined it needed a new starter, paid him for part and $375 labor. I told him the next day when I started vehicle that it was working intermittently. He recommended that maybe addition issue with wiring or ignition. Continued to be very loud and starting intermittently. 11/21/22 a local certified mechanic with 35 yrs experience said the starter was installed with 2 bolts instead of 3 and one of those bolts missed the shim so was held by only 1. The starter was therefore on crooked and the shim twisted in the bell housing. **** was made aware of mechanic findings of improper installation, along with pictures, denied any wrong doing. Obtained a second mechanic opinion in writing that cause of failure was 3 bolt starter installed with 2 bolts and one of those bolts missing the shim, causing malalignment and failure. I want refund of labor of $375. Faulty labor resulted in failure, time loss of work, stress and danger in being stranded.

Attached screen shot of cost of part, another $100 was sent by PayPal for diagnostics that went towards cost of part, another $375 was sent, so it was $175 for part and $300 labor.

Also attached proof of payment to a second mechanic, 11/21/22, to fix the starter labor error of ****'s Mobile Mechanic Services.

I do not know the address of ****'s business, have not been able to find it. Only know his phone number which is ************. The phone e number is a prepaid ******** phone, registered to ************** in **************. He has payments sent through Paypal to *************************, who he says is his wife.

Please help me recoup the $300 faulty labor charge that had to be fixed.

    Thank you,
