I'm writing to express my dissatisfaction with Asbestos Removal of Puget Sound LLC (AROPS) due to their failure to reimburse me for significant repair costs resulting from damage caused during their service. In January, AROPS cut into our water pipe. Co-owner **** acknowledged this mistake, waived their service fee, and stated she didnt want to involve insurance while agreeing to cover additional repair costs. Although we discussed these expenses, we hadnt finalized the exact amount. AROPS replaced the damaged plywood subfloor and covered the cost to fix the pipe, but other essential repairs were left outstanding. The following repairs were necessary due to AROPSs actions:*Duct Cleaning: AROPS covered a vent hole with plywood, then cut into the floor allowing wood debris into our system, causing rattling sounds. Cost: $579.08 *Wall Repair: AROPS soaked walls in our basement. **** cut out damaged drywall, removed wet insulation, which needed replacement. Cost: $500 ***************** Water damage from the cut pipe affected our furnace. Cost: $270.24 *B-vent Repair: AROPS cut through our B-vent during framing/plywood removal without informing me. I discovered this after they left and had to arrange repairs. Cost: $1,654.50 *Cleaning: Cleaning was needed to address dust and debris left after the job and following basement repair. Cost: $137.50 Total for repairs: $3,141.32 I'm requesting reimbursement for these costs. **** has refused to pay, claiming she didnt charge for the work and that covering the plywood damage and pipe fix should suffice. Our experience has been a nightmare. I had to scramble to prevent further damage, using my own bucket to catch water and towels to clean the mess, all while managing toddlers without water for most of the day, plus handle all repairs from the damage caused. Despite our verbal agreement prior to starting repairs, I have received no reimbursement and my attempts have been ignored. This has been incredibly unprofessional.

Mrs. * hired us on Jan 10th we first had contact on the 9th. She expressed she had a project that she needed done fast. It was water damage and she needed it done wile her husband was away. She also explained she was a beautiful Mudder and finisher and her and a friend would be doing the drywall and refinishing. We gave her a price she expressed this was too high for her. Initially We did not have time for this job. Nor did we want to do this job I had a bad feeling about working with Mrs *. She begged us to help her so I gave in and lowered the price and scheduled the work. We were told about 100 sq ft it was more then this when we got the project. We were cutting wet floor and taking out drywall. When we were finished. We had to cut one more wet spot. My employee **** made the cut and damaged the water pipe. This was repaired later in the day by a gentleman plumber friend of hers, the gentleman was also coming to fix something for her as well. We paid the bill for this and for our damaged with out our knowledge  because she did not give us a bill she just told us an amount and had it sent to her. We found a contractor to go put wood back on the floor. This was not a part of our agreement, but because the floor was further wet from the pipe we agreed. This was most of the floor. The contractor went that day and repaired the floor. He did not cut the vent that day because he assumed someone with that specialty would do that. She asked me to have him do it because she was pleased with his work. She also asked for his number and he told her he will go through **** because he did not want to be called to help further.  Also there was no vent under that area just a tube. The contractor explained to us he cut all the flooring out side of the home. Not inside! The next day we went clean the mess on her porch that we though was white dust it was not! It was saw dust. When the contractor arrived the next day with a leaf blower to clean the dust Mrs * had my business partner ***** VACUUMING the back porch. Wile the contractor was there and **** ***** was there Mrs * had another contractor Not an asbestos contractor cutting into her ceiling. A few month later she asked for cleaning. This seems very unreasonable with the fact that she had multiple contractors walking in the home before and after our work. **** the contractor we hired to replace the floor and ***** both saw multiple people walking through the home. The invoice was for $2952.00 We paid the plumber and we paid the contractor to replace the floor. We did not get payment for any asbestos removal. We did not verbally agree on paying any other damage on this job site. We never talked about insurance in any conversation we had. My apologies but we will not be paying Mrs * any more money. She wrote a review on yelp and now here. This has hurt our perfect record and we wont be dealing with Mrs * any further.
