Warning Take Your Vehicle to a Better Shop I own a 2022 C8 Corvette with only ****** miles on it. I contacted A1 to get a ceramic coating and informed them I had *** film on the entire front end. When I dropped the car off at 8 AM, I was told it would be ready between 45 PM. The gentleman who received the car even complimented how good my paint ********* 2 PM, I got a text saying the car was doneearlier than expected. Once I picked it up and got it in the sunlight, I noticed excessive swirl marks all over the paintfar more than I'd ever seen before. There was also white polish residue in all the edges of the *** film.I texted the owner, who asked me to bring it back. Upon return, I pointed out the swirl marks and the residue. I was told that the swirls were due to the package I paid for, and if I had spent more, I wouldnt have swirl marks. They attempted to clean the polish off the *** edges using alcohol and were just smearing it around the front end. When I asked why they didnt clean the edges before applying ceramic, the owner got defensive and questioned my knowledge of detailing.Ill be reaching out to Sun Coat Ceramic, since they approve this shop as a dealer of their product. Now I understand why my car was done three hours earlyit was rushed. Im all for supporting small businesses that do quality work, but unfortunately, this shop either lacks the skills or the care to do the job right.Initial Complaint

I did not cancel my interior detail car service. I was refused a service last minute which was incredibly inconvenient. The employee arrived and began complaining before she even saw the inside of my car. She said she did not have time to work and tried to scam cancellation money from me by threatening to charge double or leave and charge a cancellation fee. The owner was very hostile and I believe the employee was his wife. It was very rude and they charged me without my consent and did not clean my car. I did not ask them to cancel but they refused me a service.Business Response

Hey Jyoti we are so sorry for your experience. Unfortunately when we arrived on site for the appointment, we noticed your vehicle was a lot dirtier and needed more attention. So we let you know that it would have to be more for the service. You did not want to pay more for our service and our employee was forced to go back. So we charged you our Late Cancellation fee for the time and energy wasted during your appointment. We are not scammers but we do have a cancellation policy you agreed to when you booked the appointment online, so that was enforced. We are sorry and we wish you nothing but the best!Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:The service provider was complaining about not having time before even looking at my car. I let you know you could stick to the hours scheduled but you both refused and argued and tried to charge me double for only interior which is much more than standard market price. I chose to go to my dealership due to the abrupt change in plans and I did not cancel. I offered to continue to work for only the time needed for the scheduled appointment. It was incredibly inconvenient and handled poorly by management. I did not give consent to charge my card and I did not cancel the appointment. You refused to give me a service and that is on you.

Their express detail includes streak free windows included in their description/pricing on their website. My windows had grime all over them after the detail and I asked if they could come back and fix and they said no. They then slandered me on ****** and yelp after I left them a low star review stating I was threatening them which is false and I have full record of our conversation.Business Response

It would need a complete detail simply for the fact that your vehicle was heavily dirty and needed more work done, and we did what we could with what you booked. I am rejecting this response because:All they did was copy a response they made to me on a review I posted on ****** but they left the part out where they said Ive been stubborn and made continuous threats to our business. I have attached that communication as well as the email I sent to them that they I assume are referencing I threatened them. I attached a photo of their guarantee on their website under the detail I selected for streak free windows. You can see I asked them to come out to fix it and they never agreed to do that so I dont understand how they are asking me to call them to work out resolution. After slandering me on the internet I feel uncomfortable talking to them on the phone and email is the only option for me at this point but they didnt respond back which is why I reached out to BBB. At this point I am asking for at least a partial refund for the services paid as they were not all rendered and an apology for the false accusation regarding me threatening their business.

I am rejecting this response because:They have not acknowledged the poor professionalism towards me even after I shared screenshots of proof of their slander against me online. They didnt honor their work for their promise of a streak free shine of windows evidenced by the photos I shared after of my windows and would not come back to my home to make it right. I dont know what they are referring to by me being dishonest and so far they have provided no evidence to support this claim. I stand firm in requesting a partial refund and an apology for their inappropriate attack against me online stating I have made continuous threats against their business. I will not contact them via email as they keep asking because I already had tried that and they didnt respond (I shared that screenshot already). Their response only seems to be presented here so others reading it online will think they are acting professionally but I have proof otherwise and have shared it already. Please provide me my partial refund so I can move on from this horrible experience.
