    Agreed to pay $800 for drywall work. Paid a deposit of $300. ***** never started the work, it's been several days. **** and said that he was in a car accident, excuse after excuse. Paid additional $500 for wood beams which he was supposed to cut and deliver today. Zero communication. Ignored refund request. Sent me a fake receipt.

    On April 5, 2023, I saw an add on ******** for *** Painting/Construction for services regarding deck building. I had an urgent project for deck/stairs repair as a friend who was leaving an abusive relationship was moving in to my house, and needed access to my broken down deck and stairs. I called ***************************** phone number for the business listed and left a message. He called me back and left a message that I then returned. We arranged for him to come to my home on 4/6/2023 to look at the project. After reviewing and discussing the scope of the project, we agreed to a total cost of $3000, a $1500 deposit to be paid upfront, and that he had "no other projects and could begin work immediately" the following Monday. ***** proceeded to then send texts messages saying he had caught the flu and couldn't begin work. Day after day, he would sent messages that he still wasn't feeling well, but had ordered the lumber. On Thursday of that same week, he said that someone had damaged his truck and he was unable to start. On Friday, he said he was still waiting for parts. At this point, I became suspicious and checked ******** and Yelp for reviews. It was appalling. He has done this exact same thing to multiple people. I have asked over and over for a refund of the money and he refused to do so, making excuse after excuse. His business needs to be investigated and shutdown before he does this to someone else.************************************************************************************

    Hello To whom it may concern so this has been resolved and refund has been made in full there was nothing that was personaly done to this customer and was no reason for her to act and so what she said ****** going todo eaven after refund was paid back to her infill she is still making accusations that are not true.

    I am rejecting this response because: though I finally got a refund of my money, after filing multiple complaints with the ** Attorney General, *************** ** Labor and Industry, *****/S&M Painting is operating WITHOUT A BUSINESS LICENSE AND THEY ARE NOT INSURED OF BONDED. They have scammed multiple people, and if I hadnt been aggressive with getting a refund, I would be like so many others and not have received a refund.
