      The People we came in contact with and that worked on installing our fireplace we pur*****d from Anderson fireplace in **********, **. was incompetent in ******* to install the greenstater igniter (electric part) and the new ***** top we also pur*****d with them. The way this company handled the mistakes they made were unprofessional. After they installed the fireplace they put back my old ***** top back on the rotted wood. Not long after, it rained and water came in our ***** ***** I immediately let them know. We were told that we needed a new ***** top and the water will stop coming in. We ordered a new ***** top we through them and installed by them. It rained and water still kept coming in. We had to put a tarp over the ***** **** come to find out the ***** top they installed was flat and had no ribs to allow the water to run off. They came by again and in their words they said they popped it up. It rained again water still coming in. They said it was the rotted wood and not the *****. We let them know that could not have been it. We did not have any water coming in our ***** wall for the last 7 years that we lived in our home with an old ***** top and rotted wood. If that was the case then theres no way they can install a 750 pound fireplace on rotted wood. The inside of our ***** ***** would have been so damaged they could not have installed the fireplace. After all the mishaps, we asked for a refund on the ***** top that was poorly designed and installed. They refused to give us a refund. The other concern was we called and let them know that the green starter they installed didnt work. They were dismissive in our capabilities in operating a single button controller. After contacting the maker of the fireplace, Anderson fireplace finally came back to my house to see what was wrong. They found out the electricians they hired did not properly connect the single button control to the box. We do NOT recommend this company or do business with them again.

      On 4/9/2024 We did a measure up for a wood fireplace, noted that it needed a new ***** *** also, noted the ***** ********* was showing signs of water damage.

      On 5/22/2024 we installed:

      The wood fireplace.
      The ***** *** wasn't ready at the time of install so we s***ped short of penetrating till the ***** *** was made.

      On 6/12/2024 we returned to install the ***** *** and finish the chimney. Installer noted that the 
      1x wood around *** edge of ***** is severely rotted and will likely fall apart when removed. Customer had us install the ***** *** anyway and that they would address the issue. Again, customer was told of the past water damage. 

      On 6/18/2024 customer called and said the chimney was leaking. We went out to determine the cause of the leak. It was determined it was not the chimney but the ***** *********. No charge. 

      On 7/2/2024 customer called and was having issues starting a fire, so we went out as a courtesy to build a fire and educate. Customer not home. No charge.

      7/8/2024 We went back out to Build a fire and educate how to operate the unit. No charge. 
      First part of Sept customer called and asked if we would come out and uninstall the ***** so they could have a contractor redo their water damaged *****. I decide to have their contractor call me so we could coordinate the timing so we could get them watertight before the rainy season. Their ***** was redone, and we went back to reinstall their ***** ***, and they refused. No charge. 

      In conclusion customer was informed they had water damage to the ***** ********* prior to us uninstalling their original fireplace and installing the new fireplace.

      Im not surprised at their response. I have seen them lie not just to us but, also to each other. My opinion is, the owners and employees of this company really needs to take responsibility for the wrong they have done and just fix the problem the right way.
