      On 02 March, my wife was contacted via email by Mariner Self-Storage to disclose that they were under new management. With that came a requirement to complete a new contract. On 30 March, another email was received stating that we had 30 days to provide proof of insurance for the vehicles we had stored there. My wife completed the contract and provided proof of insurance to an email address, ****************************************** which we had determined to be the point of contact since the emails we received and the website disclosed it. Her emails were sent on 18 April. On 01 May, my wife receives two emails stating that we had failed to meet the time requirements when providing the proof of insurance. With those emails, we received ***** ***************** policies for the charges they require. Due to being stationed in *****, I attempt to reach out to Mariner Self-Storage on 02 May to inquire as to why we failed to provide said proof when my wife's email was sent on 18 April. After 24 hours with no response, I went to their website and attempted to contact them via a webapp requesting further communication. I have not received any communication from the company. My wife is currently a bit stressed with her upcoming deployment and would like resolution from the storage facility itself. Furthermore, I had discovered that the storage company has a new ******** page. Within the page are "testimony" and "reviews" from personnel that are said to be using the storage company in **********. One of the reviews that piqued my interest was release on 18 April stating "there are nice wide halls for hand trucks..." Mariner Self-Storage is an all outdoor facility with no hall ways. I understand that the facility could be using generic reviews to help generate business, but they should not be misleading.

I appreciate your sending the *** documents and your prompt response to our email requests. I have called and left a voicemail as well as sent an email to the address listed on your account. 

      There was a clerical error which resulted in the insurance being added to your account, but we have since removed it from your account effective 5/1/2024 resulting in no further charges to your account. Mariner Self Storage has one heated building onsite that has a hallway, and we offer hand dollies for use if needed. Please feel free to reach out in the future if we are not meeting your expectations.
