      My husband purchased a pair of work boots from this business, in the amount of $137.36, and found out they weren't needed. He went to the store, with the unworn boots, and the original receipt, for a refund. The cashier was happy to help, but provided no other option but to refund the money to my debit card, adding that it could take 14 business days. I have contacted my bank, and they haven't received the money from work n more, I asked them to please refund my money in cash, and they threatened to call the police. Now, I have no boots, no refund, and I'm out $137.36.

      Hello,

      We're sorry your experience in our store didn't meet your expectations.

      As stated in our Return Policy, all returns will be refunded to the original form of payment.  I've attached the return policy that is displayed at all cashier locations.

      As a courtesy, we let people know that refunds to debit and/or credit cards may not appear in your account right away.  This is due policies from the credit/debit card companies and banks involved.  We do not hold your money, it is taken out of our account the same day that we provide the refund.  The time is takes to be credited back to your account varies and can take up to 14 days.

      I am rejecting this response because: I've checked with my financial institution associated with my debit card, there is NOT a refund from Work n'more. The merchant is not being truthful about how they process refunds, and I am certain you know this.
