    This company gave me a quote for a job back in April and as of today Sept 1, after numerous attempts by email and a call telling me they would be here at the end of July beginning of August no response has been given to me for a start date.I feel they led me on and than ghosted me.

    Good afternoon BBB,
    I am writing in response to a complaint made by *************************. We did give ***** a quote in April. 
    We than showed up at his place to do the work in May and he had severe sub grade issues that would 
    not allow us to perform the work. ***** was told that we would not be able to perform his project 
    until the ground had dried up for more suitable conditions. He was that issued a paving contract on 
    6/28/22 which he did not sign. At the end of July ***** reached out again about his project and I 
    told him that for us to proceed with the work we would need a signed contract. ***** finally signed 
    a paving contract with us on 8/15/22. We already had several other clients sign contracts in the 
    meantime, so he was placed at the bottom of the list. We are a small business and need a signed 
    contract to do business with a customer. When you sign a contract with ********************** Dirt & Asphalt, we 
    than place you on our workload list. Due to his negligence in signing we committed to other 
    projects. We were still happy to perform the work for ***** but needed to fulfill other projects 
    first.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I emailed numerous times for a simple start date, not ******* them just a simple date. There BID was $5000 more than the nearest BID and I hose them because of the small business aspect of it. 

    I will not be using them for my project and I wont buy the small business line again. If you cant get to the job in a timely fashion dont BID the job. And for the contract, there was no open communication or response when messaged. They came out the first attempt on a hand shack, which no longer seems to mean anything to people anymore.
