      This company left my child in complete despair. We have had to seek care due to the proximity that they hurt her. They cancelled sessions by just never contacting her again. Literally ghosting her. Finally after a MONTH they sent her a voicemail at 6 am, and an email stating that she had been DISCHARGED DUE TO HER WIFI NOT ALLOWING HER TO ATTEND 3 APPTS. Out of 24 appts she missed 3 and due to that, they just let her go.They, at no point, tried to reach out to either parent to remedy this.My child counted on counseling, but later told me ***** was providing her no tools and just smiled alot, so lets just say this is a blessing in disguise.DO YOU RESEARCH BEFORE YOU SEND YOUR CHILD HERE, I wish we would have vetted them more appropriately. ****** learned.

I can confirm that our policy is that more than 3 appointments missed with less than 48 hours notice does unfortunately have to result in a discharge, as each of our clients have explained to them in their first session. We are sorry you are dissatisfied with this policy and can assure you that we work hard to communicate promptly and effectively with all our clients.       In response to Twin lakes Counseling reply. Your policies were never reviewed by an adult, as you told all of us (both sets of parents who all are in communication) that you cannot talk to us due to privacy policy). Even though the 14 YEAR OLD patient signed an ROI for all parents. She has stated such. We have requested the documents and twin lakes counseling refuses to send copies. There was no warning of potential discharge, there was no phone call to try and remedy situation and lastly there was no communication with the patient to help her or find another counselor. YOU ABANDONED HER: thats the bottom line. That is the reason why we are coming after your company. So this doesnt happen to another innocent child. Mental health counselors should understand the complexities of abandonment, no matter how it happens. Shame on you Twin lakes; *****************, ************************* and *************************.
