I rented a large storage unit for around 18 months. It was full of furniture, clothes, shoes and other household items. When I went to move out of the unit I discovered it was extremely infested with rats.

      Subject: Response to Complaint #********

I hope this message finds you well. We received the complaint filed by ***** ****** regarding potential rodent activity in unit #** and we appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns.

First and foremost, we would like to extend our apologies to the customers for the inconvenience and dissatisfaction they have experienced. We take customer feedback seriously, and we are committed to resolving this matter promptly and effectively.

Upon reviewing the complaint, we have found the following:
There seemed to have been some rodent activity in the unit.
The rodent activity did not originate from any actions taken by the team members who work at the facility.

To address these issues, we have taken the following actions:
We have pest control on our property biweekly to address any issues.
We are taking a loss in disposing of any damaged items left by the tenant in their unit, upon the agreement that we would dispose of any damaged items.  Most of the items left were in good shape and had no damage from rodent activity.

Additionally, we have implemented the following measures to prevent similar issues from occurring in the future:
Spraying deterrent outside of our units to repel pests and rodents.
Offering pest/rodent prevention for occupants to place in their units.

We value our customers and strive to provide the best possible service. We have reached out to ***** ****** directly to ensure they are satisfied with the resolution and to offer any additional assistance they may need.
Please feel free to contact us if you require any further information or if there are any additional steps we need to take.
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We remain committed to maintaining the trust and satisfaction of our customers.

      Sincerely,
      Madison Tinsley

I am rejecting this response because:
We intended to bring all of our belongings to our house for use. Everything that was left in the unit was unsalvagable as you can clearly see in the pictures. We tried to remove the rat pee by scrubbing the hard surfaces but were unsuccessful as it stains harshly.
      Sincerely,

      ***** ******

This facility has refused a number of packages I was looking to have delivered. This caused the packages to be returned to the original sender and I have had to re-ship. I sent I now have to spend ~$500 more dollars on shipping. I have been reaching out for weeks to get an understanding on what is going on and why the shipments have been refused. I currently have a number of packages I am still shipping to the facility which will ultimately get refused. I finally was able to get someone in the front office to respond only to find out "their company policy changed" and they will not longer accept packages which are shipped to them. This policy change was never communicated to me so I would have had no idea to not ship my packages there. I will include a screenshot, but as of August 30th the website still says they accept packages. The regional manager for this facility is named *********************** and his number is ************. I want the shipping charges paid for and/or the last month of month reimbursed to my credit card.

Hello ***, in the matter of *****************.

**** called me upset on 8/28 saying that his packages were refused. I called the store to find out why we would refuse a package. We did not in fact refuse to sign for the package the **************** elected not to take them to the unit. Some times a *** or ***** driver will refuse to take packages to a unit. It in not our policy to hold packages in the office for customers. It would create liability for us to sign and hold packages for 600 customers until they are ready to pick it up. A few times in the past the store team did this for ************ and it was brought to my attention when ************,came into the office and yelled at a team member for losing packages that in fact had not yet been delivered. At that time I informed the team they needed to not make exceptions and go by the book. Packages need to be delivered to the unit directly for us to sign for it.  After speaking with ************,. He told me nobody told him they were not going to hold packages in the office for him. I spoke to both the Assistant manager and the store manager both said they had told him multiple times. Despite the fact that to store team disputes what he is saying as a customer service I told ************ that when he moved out this month we would refund him his September rent as a customer service. Which we will still be doing as soon as he moves out. Im sorry, that we are in this situation, but we can not have customers packages sitting in our office. Most drivers will deliver the packages to the unit, but when they dont its on the customer to contact the delivery service and make arrangements.
