I paid for a 200 hour yoga teacher training course in August that was $3000. In October I messaged the owner and told her I was dealing with health issues of my back and had to start Physical Therapy. I asked her to call me and she delayed contacting me for 10 days and then proceeded to avoid options for me to take the remainder of the course another time. I have recieved a medical exemption waiver and now the owner refused to talk to me about refunding my money. In addition she emailed me and said she would just approve me after I get done with my surgery. But *** missed a lot of classes and should not ethically be able to get the teacher certification. I attended 1/3 of the classes without issue and am okay with paying for that and receiving a refund of 2/3 of my payment. I plan to also file a small claims this week against her if BBB cannot help.

The client signed up and paid for Yoga Teacher Training on August 3rd, 2022. Our policy, as stated on the receipt, is that All Sales are Final. I did communicate with the client to ensure that she could safely continue with her training. In Yoga Teacher Training clients are taught the skills to be a teacher with the expectation of being able to teach yoga, not practice it. She asked for accommodations which I agreed to and now has gone back on that agreement and requested a refund. Tell us why here...

I am rejecting this response because: the business offered a monthly payment option for the *** program - as presented as an attachment in the first complaint. I reached out to the owner at the end of October after missing my first class to inform her of my injury and that I would need to end training to focus on my recovery and healing. She refused to offer another class for me to attend at a later date and than proceeded to string me along with gaslighting of hope *** heal. After pushing myself to meet her desires I ended up tearing my disk further and required surgery last week.

I attended two months of teacher training with the learning plan and the educator I signed up for. The business outside of my medical issues furthermore did not provide me the level of education and fired the trained educator that was teaching the classes, and than offered to provide me a *** verification with only approximately 60 hours of training received in September and October.

Furthermore, I dont have any documentation showing where I signed up that it was non refundable. Printing on the receipt post payment does not show my cognitive agreement to that, as I am an intelligent human, I would have chosen to the the monthly payment plan as life happens. If I was pregnant and put on bed rest I do not believe she would be treating me like this. But the situation is no different medically speaking.

    Sincerely,
